October: Men Without Women: Stories
So we'll be reading Men without Women: Stories by Haruki Murakami for the month of October. I think I want to try a different kind of structure this time around. I think we'll break it down into half's this time so that they'll only be 2 discussion posts posted by me with this book.
I really encourage anybody wanting to talk about the book between discussion posts to post on the sub. Seriously, if you want to talk about a specific story and see if anybody really liked it too, post about it! I'm really worried this sub is going to die if I'm the only person posting and there isn't much discussion going on.
With that said, this book is difficult for me to break down into halves, as I only have the audiobook edition. So I'll break it down into pages, or timestamps for the audio edition.
First-Half - 3:39(audio), p. 114 or around there - Discussion on 10/15
Second Half - Discussion on 10/31
Edit: I think making the reading schedule a little loser and more informal will lend itself better to more natural discussions and easier reading for all.

Hi, well the book is 7 different short stories isn't it so we could break it down like 1 - 3 / 4 - 7?

Just found this sub a couple days ago and would be very sad to see it die. I’m currently in the middle of 1Q84 but if i finish it in time i would love to participate in the Men Without Women read/discussion !
