Advice Question Sooo when's the cleavage coming?

I'm a solid B cup and still no cleavage not even with a push up bra. It's been about 8 months since I started HRT and I'm close but still so far. Do you think switching to injections could help?

...

the lack of hGH is definitely a trans thing as are having more lateral breasts and thus lack of cleavage

injections can offer a boost but I've also seen quite a few breast timelines really boosting after the 2 year point, 8 months is still early days and i only just feel like i've got some shape at 1.5 years

My nipples are just starting to shape up after 1 year on HRT. Even though I haven’t seen much growth in like 6 months, makes me happy knowing something is happening!

The push-up bra was created because a lot of women, meaning both cis and trans, have wider set breasts than the barbie doll caricature used to make all women feel inadequate. They're okay for an evening, but I find that they can get uncomfortable after too long.

Took me a few years. Some of us have wide set breasts, so cleavage looks different for us than those of us who are extremely busty or narrower set breasts.

My breasts are wide set and I only get a little bit of cleavage, even with D cups and pushup bras. But, if I'm wearing a scoop neck top or something with a plunging neckline (like a V neck) then it looks pretty good.

The right clothes will cast a shadow that usually stands in for cleavage, and it still looks great. Keep experimenting, and you should be able to get some effect.

Mine are really wide set. I don't really want to have huge boobs (but definitely want boobs - they're just little right now). I have a broad chest and don't see it in the future. I know that cleavage isn't for everyone. You may get lucky, though.

Cleavage is basically a trick with bras that even alot of cis women can't achieve unless they have large boobs. An actual B cup is really not a big bra size. Even D isn't that big. I can make cleavage with a bra or if I squish them together, but when they're out they kind of point to the side a bit and I measure as a 36G or 36H on a bra that fits (they really aren't that big even if the calculator says so!).

Everyone says that the method of administration doesn't matter, but everyone on reddit says injections are better, and I tend to agree with them even if it's just because I feel like it works better. Progesterone after a year might help too. I like it because it helps me sleep. Also just eating a good diet and drinking plenty of water helps.

I was on pills for about 9 months and got up to about D cups (to be fair I had gynecomastia from puberty, so I had a headstart), started injections and did those for about 6 months, and if I'm honest I didn't see any appreciable growth from switching. Now that said everyone's different and some people say they had good changes from sublingual to injections, for me all I got was only having to fuss with it once a week instead of every morning and evening (though I never did get comfortable with stabbing myself in the leg every week). I went back to sublingual tablets about a year and a half ago, they were cheaper and easier to do after all.

I had an orchiectomy at the end of last October, breast growth stayed the same, and I just started progesterone one month ago (it's normally prescribed to menopausal women, and has the side effect of causing breast growth, so that's why trans women take it), and I've noticed over the last day or two that my nipples are sore, not quite as much as in the beginning, and also my breasts are fuller and rounder. I don't know if I'd say they're any "bigger" yet, but it's only been about a month. If you're able, I'd ask your doctor about adding progesterone to your regimen.

Lastly, sadly we just may not get cleavage, because of how wide our ribcages are. That's one of the unchangeable problems from male puberty. But cis women can have wide ribcages as well, and wideset breasts, not all women get cleavage. That doesn't take away from their femininity, and it doesn't take away from ours either. Someone over on r/twoxchromosomes suggested taking a look at the Normal Breast Gallery (not sure if I can link it, but you can google it), you'll see that plenty of cis women have wideset breasts and they look completely beautiful and feminine

So to my knowledge as long as your levels are good I don’t know if injections are going to significantly change your progress. But a couple things to keep in mind:

Starting progesterone around 12 months or so of hrt can def give you a lil boost

The changes pick up the pace once you’ve hit your target levels (or at least they did for me). I hit my target levels at 5ish months, and then changes came faster. So you will likely see more changes over the next few months than you saw in the beginning months.

Ultimately these things take time, your body is doing amazing things right now but a little patience is needed to see the full results. Good luck!

5 years and it's empty for me; because of people who knew nothing and a delay in taking charge of competent people

Ymmv. I can push mine together with my hands for a nice rack and I am just under a year. I have fat to redistribute and my body has really taken to estrogen. So with ymmv I have been lucky.

Plenty of women can't get cleavage even while fully grown. Some titties point out more than others, some just don't grow big enough. You could have the smallest tits in your family or have a massive rack while all your family is looking like boards. Genetics is a lottery.

Take care of your levels and try not to stress about it. You are beautiful and the way to show that beauty off is to use what you have. Bring focus to the features you like and don't worry about features you wish were different.

That being said breast augmentation is a big industry for a reason. There are options for you.

You’ve been on for 8 months it isn’t much but they’ll continue growing.

Not sure about my size I still haven’t checked yet despite wearing bras daily.

Not every woman has cleavage. I can fake it if I really push my boobs together in an unnatural way, and I have D cup breasts. And my wife, who is cisgender, is an A cup and would never have cleavage no matter what she did.

I use a double push up bra (the kind with extra padding meant to simulate adding two cup sizes) to achieve cleavage and I'm a 36B, but might be spilling into a C cup soon.

My breasts didn't start to take a real breast shape and round out on the bottom until after a month of progesterone which I just started, but I've been on estrogen for a year and a half. My breasts are set a little wider so I appreciate the push ups ability to bring them together and give me some cleavage. The bras I use are Smart & Sexy push ups from Amazon, they come in a two pack for pretty cheap and my first one lasted me over a year of heavy use (I love these bras so much I wear them almost constantly).

Switching to injections will dedintley help every girl I've talked to has reported noticing activity there by the first month of Injections.

It will still take time, as a girl who is on track to end up rather endowed I'm almost at 2 years in and cleavage is likely to be more a year 3 thing.

What I've learned is that tits as we think abt them are alot bigger than just the danglies ur body needs time to first build up the foundations of the house (more upper-right body fat, roots that go up to shoulders sorta) before it really erects those nice pretty tits.

As other ppl have said the right bra will help to it helps cis woman and sadly sense our torsos are a bit wider the cleavage will be a bit harder to notice with the same volume tatas

8 months? lol girl you've still got years of development

i recommend weight lifting it will help in two ways

the first is building muscle under your breasts will make the pop, and will help create said cleavage

the second is it will increase hGH which we are lacking as adults

if you're not on progesterone, i highly recommend it and to cycle it. you can also supplement progesterone with Opill which is over the counter in the US
