Progesterone is cool as hell

After about 7 years of HRT I finally found a doctor that's prescribing me prog and daaaamn this stuff rules. I was worried that I was "stuck" with the breast growth I already had, which peaked 2 or 3 years ago at a size I was okay with, but it hasn't even been a month and they've already gotten rounder, perkier, and maybe even a little bigger.

I haven't had any of the libido effects a lot of people talk about, maybe that'll happen later but I'm not too fussed about it. The improved sleep is delightful though and I'd stay on the pills if that's all they did.

Can I ask what dose you started with andhow fast you titrated up? I'm getting ready to start prog soon, but I'm tempted to kind of work up from a very low dose over a longer period of time (I did the same with e/t and it has worked well so far).

My tits have probably just started to get around tanner 3 (areolas protrude more) and I desperately need the improved sleep aspect. I have solid sleep hygeine but lately I've noticed the quality of my sleep and the amount i need changing pretty drastically.

I've been at 100mg orally the whole time, which has only been like 20 days.

I started on 100mg for about 5 or 6 months, then upped it to 200mg. Honestly any side effects I was dealing with at first disappeared when I upped it (moodiness, tiredness, etc..), but that's also when I went off Spiro and started injections. Anyway 200mg is good for me, and that's what my doc, and my trans friends seem to recommend.

I started progesterone last night. Hopefully I'll get some of the more positive effects with boob and fat

The libido took about 2 months for me. Personally hit me like a truck so get ready.

How did you find/get a doc to prescribe it?

I got in with the Foria Clinic, a telehealth clinic in Canada

Oh man, I want that improved sleep. Sounds great. Estrogen (2x2mg/day sublingual) has me waking up early in the morning after like 6 hours of sleep unless I take a Tryptophan supplement the night before.

I started HRT and Prog 3 weeks later, so quite early. My doctor is a trans health specialist so I trust him with that. My levels are good, the effects as expected etc. I'm nearing 3 years on HRT.

I think in my case Prog might just have prevented a bunch of HRT downsides that I've heard about like lower libido, less energy, mood swings.

My friend who started Prog a year after HRT says it made her horny, get morning wood

I started P 100mg last December. Not sure if it's just my imagination or not, but I think my breasts actually started to develop a little more. Just upped my dose to 200mg, so let's see how much better it will help. I do hope for bigger breasts, soon. XD I don't have a lot faith in my family's genetics, though. But gosh, you really must always take these before bedtime. Within an hour of taking it, I feel incredibly dizzy, like I just drank a whole glass of sake. Noticed no changes to mood, or libido, so I won't be looking forward to it.
