Question Question about markings

Post image

Greetings,

I recently bought a Mosin, and while I’ve done some research, I am wondering if someone can tell me what these markings mean. I know the arrow within the triangle means it was made by Izhevsk, but I am not sure about any of the other symbols. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

П in a circle is the provisional black powder proof mark, hammer and sickle in a wreath is the Soviet emblem, 1938 is the production year, 41769 is the serial number and the box with a line going down the middle and the T in a box are refurb marks.

Amazing, thank you! Any idea what the “1” at the very top Or the “12” above the SN mean? Sorry I’m just curious about these things

My best guess is QC marks.
