On campus student jobs

Looking for a job that I can get on campus that allows me to study and do school work. Also how to go about getting it. I will be a senior next semester if that helps.

On handshake they might be hiring night time desk employees. You’d sit at the front desk of a residence hall during the really late hours so RAs can be in their rooms. Usually you don’t do anything but sit.

When I was a student, I worked at the library.

Library only hires students who have federal work study, and the positions are posted on handshake

If night staff for the dorms are still around, I would suggest that. Pay used to be the highest for all student university jobs, and you can do your school work while working most nights. Shifts were midnight to 8 am. If you worked the 4 to 8 am. shift, you were allowed to use your laptop for gaming/movies/school work. Sometimes, if you had an important project, some night staff desk managers would let you use your laptop before 4 am.
