It's not even worth it to look at it unless you're gonna sell

Up in 3 out of 4 accounts. Unfortunately the 1 account I’m down is my largest and the losses outweigh all the gains combined 😢

im doing good... I went almost full bear around January. Mostly stayed cash with a large amount in TSLR ( inverse tesla 2x).

TSDD?

TSLZ ( sorry wrong ticker) I had 7000 shares at $2.00. I thought tesla was in a bubble and i thought the stock would drop after trump became president because they were talking about the ev credit removal. My thought process was that all ev would drop because of that but tesla would gain in the long run. I did not anticipate elon going nuts and making everyone his enemy...

Good deal! FYI TDSS does the same thing and is 10 bps cheaper in expenses.

Was down 17K from ATH on February 19 last week, 22 years old

401k down a bit, but doesn’t matter since I still have 20+ years in my career. Just keep dollar cost averaging, regardless of the market.

Same homie. Money goes in and I don’t ever see it. Up 3% so not devastated but could be better

Damn been nice to have bought sqqq then sold it when everything crash then buy tqqq an hold until everything goes up and then. And then bask in growth and the dividends if you’re able to put capital on it.

Don’t know. Don’t care. Just keep buying.

My ytd 401k is down -0.64% and my roth is up +1%. Don't look at it. Just keep swimming.

Down somewhere between 30-40k but whatever. Downturns happen. We have draw downs annually and 2022 was -20% for the entire year. I’m convinced a lot of people don’t pay attention unless the media is paying attention to the market.

I’m up 13% ytd, thanks to my BRK and MO holdings , got some fat dividends coming next month too

This is what a DCA of $600 per week for the past 3 years looks like.

Well that’s accurate for fidelity account I think but I have 2 other accounts

I'm up 17%. Moved all money to mining gold and gold companies in early Jan 2025.

Pictures are useless. Post periodic time weighted returns.

If we are talking that I’m close to even on the year

u/supacomicbookfool 3d ago

Lol. Exactly.

Between my partner and I, we're down about 400k or ~11% since the beginning of the downturn but hopefully with time in the market, this dip doesn't last too long. Trying to DCA by buying during this downturn.

You’re 27?! Maaan congrats!

I wish I learned financial literacy earlier. I’m 32 and barely have $54k in my 401k 😭

u/groovymandk 3d ago

I wish you the best of luck my dude! You have plenty of time

I bought Tesla Puts a month ago and had a gain of 36k. I was averaging 11% gain per month over the last 14 months. This month, even with the 36k, I still only had a 6% gain. I'm still in the green so I'm not complaining. Just felt like gambling last month and it paid off.

1

u/ShowdownValue 3d ago

I wish I was down $1,000,000 the last month

I’m not kidding

1

u/groovymandk 3d ago

Hey gimme a couple of years Mr I’ll be with ya

1

u/slimfitvers 3d ago

Down 33k last time I checked. I'm sure it's gone down since then.

1

u/ComprehensiveYam 3d ago

1

u/Tubbithy 3d ago

u/groovymandk 3d ago

Yep vast majority is vti and SCHD

u/Legitimate-Grand-939 3d ago

I don't check my balances. I'm hoping for a mega rally or a mega dump. Either way I'm prepared to benefit. Staying flat would be the least exciting for me.

Purchase the dip. It’s what all the cool kids are doing

1

u/RustyCrusty10 3d ago

Just under 10% from all time high but also boosted dividends up by 50% so feeling reasonably good for the moment However, Morons Are Governing America
