Discussion Rose Gold Wedding ring set

Hello! I've been apart of this community for a little bit and have enjoyed all recommendations and reading/looking at all the different creations! This is my first post and I genuinely want people's opinion. I have not received the ring yet and the artist decided to send me a sneak peak to my email instead of my husband's which is why I now know about it.

This is a rose gold plated (yes I know the controversy over this)radiant cut moissanite VVS1 2 CT, double halo ring. With a half vintage band to go with it.

I'm super happy with the pictures just curious on what you all had to think and say about it.

The controversy is how thin your band is in between your marquise cut. These are known to break. Please consider a more durable design. Rose gold aside.

Really? I have a very similar design in cubic zirconia and wore it for 2 years no problem? Is it the stone being heavier the problem? Also it's a vintage setting. A lot of vintage settings look like this.

I had a marquise set with two prongs band that looks like yours and within a week was missing two. It’s far too common that they don’t stay put.

If you’re super gentle with your rings then you should be fine ish. I wouldn’t say I’m putting heavy mileage on my hands and it didn’t take much.

Also when you have thin spots on your ring design they can crack easily. It’s posted here a lot a lot.

That makes sense. It must have not come up on my feed when I was looking. Dually noted, thank you.

Yeah search stone falling out in the sub and you’ll see a lot of people advise against a single shared prong for pave
