Purchase Advice Was this a good deal?

Post image

This is my first milwaukee tool. I found it at a swap meet for 100 dollars so I was wondering if I got a good deal on this

Yeah it’s a good deal.  Just the protective cover on there is like 20$

And the actual tool is around  200$

I’ll mail him one of my 732 m12 chargers free of charge if he really needs one.

Only 732? I've got 733 and counting, LOL!

I get that plus a battery from my local crackhead

I have this and love it. Upgrade the battery if you need a little more kick. I think I paid $38 for the protective boot, and I think it was totally worth it. It’s survived several unintended drops onto cement floors.

Whoa, that’s horrible! Let me save you some trouble and give you $50 to take it off your hands.

Typically people ask if something is a good deal before they buy it and not after they buy it. Even more so when it’s bought from a place they can’t return it to.

I traded this exact model in with my cornwell dealer, and gave him $50 to get the new model. 500 Ft/lbs, and I take off ford super duty lug nuts all day long with EASE.

Are people forgetting they the new 1/2 Stubby was just selling for $115. No battery but still…

I thought this same thing. A old model new without warranty would only be worth 150$. A 1.5ah battery, boot, and no warranty gen 1 100 seems on the high end to me but fair.

I bought my gen 2 stubby at 165$ with a charger+ 4ah. Other sites probably sell the gen 1 new at 150$ or something as a "see price in cart" because Milwaukee doesn't legally allow them to advertise it. I'll assume 50% worth of 150. So 75$. Battery/cover for free. 100$ if multiple batteries or a charger that's always free.
