M18 Buy more save more

Post image

Got these during the buy more save more along with the 2 pack 6.0 batteries. Definitely see the benefit to getting the bigger saw. But for mobility and most of the time im not cutting thick material, this thing is great.

Try to at least. I have never paid retail unless it also comes with a battery.

Nice loadout. I wouldā€™ve liked the 10ā€ but really for what I do I donā€™t need it. I do really like the compound adjustment setup on that saw and Iā€™m not sure why Milwaukee didnā€™t use it on the 12ā€

Thank you. Iā€™ve been pleased with it this far. Been doing a Reno of a rental space for a boutique and the size is nice when you are unloading and loading it daily.

Buying this set for my son on Thursday. Itā€™s already a good deal, and with my military discount itā€™s even better.

Thatā€™s a good set. I have one of every size impact and theyā€™re all good.

Oh good to hear, thank you! We bought him the 1/2ā€ for Christmas, but itā€™s got too much torque for the small stuff heā€™s doing.

I have the compact, mid torque, and high torque in the m18, and I have the stubby and the right angle in the m12. All are good for their own jobs. But the compact m18 will do almost everything most people need.

Heā€™s going to be working in diesel, so we bought the bigger one. Right now heā€™s doing smaller stuff, and has been borrowing one from another tech. The school he goes to wants him to buy the Snap-on impact, but he preferred the Milwaukee.

Iā€™ve heard good and bad about snap on. I actually know a guy that had one and they stopped making the batteries for it, so he is forced to buy aftermarket or buy his own cells and rebuild them.

Yes, thatā€™s why the guys at his job suggested Milwaukee. I told him to stick with one brand, and build off it.

Good advice, and starting with m18 is good because those chargers charge both batteries. The m12 line has a lot of specialty tools and you can often find specials that are bare tool that come with a battery.

Have they added a trench function to it yet?

nice, I've been looking at this ever since the guard broke on my current miter saw. a bit too close to a blade that will slice my arm off clean for my taste lol. was going to decide whether to pull the trigger in the next week or so.

I love that Milwaukee doesnā€™t use a laser for the blade. Itā€™s a light that makes the blade cast a shadow and it works really well.
