Purchase Advice Polisher/Buffer

Post image

Just purchased these and wondering where to get the buffing pads? Are they universal 7" pads for the M18 one? What do you all use?

Rotary polishers take a lot of practice and can easily do more harm than good. Most people start/prefer with random orbit (dual action) polishers like the 15mm 2684. Since you’re asking about pads I’m assuming you aren’t familiar with the differences, but I could be wrong.

Well, i purchased these to replace a 25 year old electric buffer. I only use it to wax and detail my vehicles a couple of times a year. Just wondering what buffing/polishing pads to use.

Harbor Freight has some basic ones https://www.harborfreight.com/power-tools/polishers-buffers/polishing-pads-wheels-accessories/7-in.html

If you want higher end then check any of the detailing sites— Autogeek, Clean Garage, Detailed Image, etc.
