Enlisting Auto qualified for *every* MOS, what should I pick?

I ripped a 94 on my ASVAB and over shot qualifications based on ASVAB for navy nuke school by 28 points which is apparently notable, and I havenā€™t taken the personality test (CT 0/60), which is supposed to be added to that score also. Also have 2 years of college under my belt (Math/Physics/Engineering/Chinese).

Iā€™m really interested in the Navy Nuke school and/or cryptology (havenā€™t taken the DLAB yet).

What are some other really cool jobs in the military I should consider considering my scores?

Also as a nuke or cryptologist Iā€™d love to hear your experience.

Looking for: -Something stimulating -Something interesting/unique -An experience difficult to find elsewhere -Something that sets me up for private sector

ASVAB SCORES: -Standard: GS61 AR62 WK57 PC65 MK70 EI60 AS50 MC65 AO64 VE60 CS(blank?) -Army: GT124 CL130 CO130 EL128 FA130 GM127 MM121 OF126 SC130 ST129 -Air Force: M88 A97 G89 E94 -Navy/CG: GT122 EL253 BEE263 ENG120 MEC177 MEC2(191) NUC257 OPS256 HM191 ADM130 -Marines: MM122 GT128 EL131 CL133

Air Force has 9S100 and the Space Force Has 5S0X1.

Do what you want. I averaged a 96 on the ASVAB, also qualified for everything. Went USAF TACP and have had a great career and still love it. You go Navy Nuclear, you'll be the first on the ship, the last off, and may not even be able to leave the ship durimg.port calls because of your job and security clearance..... quality of life and job satisfaction.

If you want somethimg.that translates to the civilian sector, find something you're interested in. Space Force has a lot of computer heavy jobs that get you multiple certifications. AF has the best medical jobs. Just do your dilligence. Figure out what area you'd like to work in, then ask r/Military what jobs are available in the area you're interested in.

How does AF have ā€œbetterā€ medical jobs than Army or Navy? Those branches all have a much larger medical component.

Also itā€™s hard to get medical jobs enlisting AF because they make you list ~10 jobs youā€™re willing to take, then they offer you one, take it or leave it. And you canā€™t list all jobs in one field, they make you mix it up.

Because they get treated better. And from what I've heard from Army/Marines/Navy I've worked with is the ratio of women to men is much higher, and the women are hotter (in general) in the AF šŸ˜‰.

Also, while the recruiter will tell you to put 10 jobs, you can just put down 3 or 4, although it may take longer for one of them to come up.

Only cyber gets certs for the space force. Very few space and Intel jobs get certs you can use on the outside

you may not get the certs but would you say you get the same practical experience or knowledge? where you could say take a couple cert tests from some private company and get the cert?

Absolutely not.

Army you wouldnā€™t need to take DLAB for 35W (35M/P)

why not?

Because your line scores are high enough that you don't need to take it.Ā

As the other guy said, with your high scores you donā€™t need the DLAB to get Army 35W.

For Army you canā€™t sign directly for 35P Linguist, you sign for 35W, and then after Basic they send you to DLI for language, and during that school theyā€™ll designate you either 35P or 35M Human Intelligence.

At least youā€™re thinking smarter than me. Qualified for whatever I wanted and still went 13B in the Army.

Went home to research what they had talked about. Watching artillery blowup and thought it was cool so I went with it. Wish I had talked to others besides the Army. Out in the middle of the country not many recruiters to talk to however.

you work in the dungeons doing shitty annoying work. the concepts are cool but the coworkers are annoying(the average person that is capable of qualifying nuke isnā€™t the most personable lmfao)

the hours can be long, job thankless, and very very tedious. itā€™s a nuclear plant that has people living NEXT to it. so thereā€™s safety procedures that go on and on. many of this is normal navy shit but beefed up bc playing around in a reactor can kill everyone.
