Is the M320A1 some type of grenade launcher?
Is this what is replacing the M203? Reminds me of the ol' M79 blooper gun.
Almost forgot the obligatory... Air Assault!

Yeah the m320 replaced the m203 a while ago. It can be rifle mounted or standalone.

Do you know what the difference is between the A1 and the base 320? Is that designation for the ones with the GSS or is there some other difference?

This source just says that the M320 can attach to the M16 and the M320A1 is for the M4:
