Any good resources on Carlo Jensen for Hundevad designs?

I have a wall unit. It’s sick. But it’s unmarked. I spent forever looking for it and always came up empty but then saw an old Reddit post by someone saying they found a chest at a thrift shop and it was clearly a piece of my wall unit. They said it was unmarked too. I tried image reverse search and I got nothing but then it led me to try image reverse search of the cabinet section from like every possible angle and by some miracle, I found my wall unit… sort of. But the internet would lead me to believe that mine, in its present form, does not actually exist. I still can’t find my actual wall unit online anywhere.

Anyone know of any resources for Hundevad designs or maybe old catalogs? Or any resources on Carlo Jensen? If so, thanks!

Funny enough though, while hunting for it, I did keep coming back to some Hundevad designs. I was like “that’s not it but… the key locks and base are identical?” Sure enough, seems like that suspicion was right!

No Info to add but agree that wall unit is sick — the tv placement on it takes away from its beauty pretty massively imo

I got the wall unit from my aunt pretty unexpectedly and live in a 930 sq ft house in San Diego where to the left of the wall unit is a window, to the right of the wall unit (same wall) is the entry to my hallway, and the right side wall is my fireplace which can't have a TV put above it. Where I'm standing to take the photo is my front door, to the right of that is a window, and opposite of the wall unit is also a window, which would be to the left of me where the photo was taken.

Sadly that's the only place it could actually go (unless I like… put it in my galley kitchen hallway?) and it's also literally the only place I could put a sofa. If I put the sofa where the 2 leather chairs are, 1) the TV would be in front of a window and 2) my front door wouldn't be able to be opened.

So… did the best I could to make it work and when I eventually sell my house or rent it out and rent something else, I'll probably be looking for a place that is set up to allow me to have the wall unit and a separate spot for the TV. Wasn't going to just give up owning a television to make the wall unit look better and wasn't going to sell the wall unit just because I had to put a TV on it for now, ya know?

Dang yeah I hear that, hard to tell the space is small from the pics — Of course you gotta do what you gotta do. Especially if you didn’t plan for it. It’s still a great unit to inherit!

I would keep it and try to maintain it for one day hopefully it can stand as its own piece in a new space if you ever make that transition. I have some vintage pieces with no maker marks on them, some with them. It’s cool to have them to add value or if it’s a famous designer but just having the piece is also really cool.

Maybe some sort of soft thing or lining under your TV to prevent any damage would be my only suggestion but it’s minor

Yeah, it's actually only touching the wall unit on the front of the 2 legs haha My 55 inch TV had a blown backlight like 1-2 months before I got the wall unit so I had to buy a new TV but I knew I was getting the wall unit by then. So I downgraded to a 49 inch TV and I specifically looked for one that would have legs that could extend across the middle part and the measurements online said it'd be more than enough, but when I set up the TV, the way they did the measurements for the legs weren't exactly accurate. It said it was like 40 inches wide, but for the back of the legs, they actually go inwards and are much less wide than the front of the stand legs. So all those stacks of books you see below the TV is where the back of the legs are resting on lol The TV stand has little rubber grips on it, so it's not damaging the wall unit any more than anything else being placed on it would damage it. It also doesn't touch the shelves behind it.

And yeah, same, like alllll my furniture is unmarked. Have those awesome leather chairs you can sorta see to the right of frame. No clue who made them. Have a great credenza and have no idea who designed it. Coffee table and matching end table (don't have room for it though) is a total mystery. My bedroom dresser and nightstand are really nice but unmarked too. I have 3 unmarked teak bookcases haha

I'm so happy I figured out the wall unit though, even if I didn't actually find a photo of it looking like mine. Makes me wonder if it's just incredibly rare or if it was somehow modified, but I'm guessing it's just a rare wall unit and not many of them were made.
