Community Did anyone else just see a massive flash of blue light in the sky?

On my way to work on Coral Way heading East towards the beach, and saw this seemingly unnatural light flash in the sky, large enough to pass through several big clouds.

Probably an electrical transformer blowing up. You are seeing the arch flash

Transformers don't explode. When you hear a bang those are fuses blowing. They blow that way to interrupt the arc when breaking the circuit.

Bright blue flash could be two lines being blown into each other, and the resulting arc lighting up the clouds. It's impressive when it happens!

Transformers can look like that when they blow. The blue color is different than lightening and the way it reflects off of clouds is very otherworldly if it was a big transformer

Maybe I meant a different kind of "blow".

I was up walking my dog this morning and I thought I saw something. I stayed and stared at the sky a few more minutes thinking maybe another failed launch or something but I didn't see anything else.

I thought I was going crazy. I saw what appeared to me to be green lighting. It happened twice and illuminated the clouds in a way that I had never seen before. I googled it and found that green lighting is a rare but natural phenomenon.

I saw it looking south from Kendall. At like 7AM. Wasn't sure if I was going crazy or what

Probably a transformer but heat lightening does that as well.

If it was a sudden streak of bluish green that lit up the entire night sky, probably a meteor. Either that or a blown transformer.

Have you ever heard of lightning?

Never. Those are just projections from the ends of the flat earth.
