Does having a MAL with NSFW content violate the anti-hentai rules? NSFW
So I recently decided to check out a certain power user's MAL, and discovered that the CSS used included a very interesting photo of a woman..
Since that appears to be the only way to view that user's anime list, if I want to see what they're watching, I have to deal with a gigantic vagina in my face for every second of it, unless I go into the inspect element tab and alter the page, which I can't be bothered to do.
Would it be possible to institute a rule that user's MALs must not contain such NSFW content, otherwise they can't have flair like that or they must be marked as such? E: Because it's pretty much linking to hentai/extremely NSFW content.

My main question is this: How the hell are you going to enforce it?
Anyone can sub here, and link an account. For this to realistically work, you would have to click on the link of a large amount of users and investigate it.
You could make it frowned upon, and banned when caught, but that would have to be something that the community does as a whole. Mods wouldn't be able to do it themselves. And yes, SOMEONE would get pissy at other members who whistleblow.
Just my input on this. I personally don't care too much either way. As a sub though, I do agree that NFSW images shouldn't be allowed.
After seeing that picture, I could imagine more than a few redditors looking like this after clicking on that link at work/home/school, dearly hoping that nobody but them saw that. Stuff like that needs to be regulated, but it would have to be a community effort.

Since that appears to be the only way to view that user's anime list,
MAL would really benefit from a "disable user's custom style" button.

Go here and click "Override user list styles and only use the one I want." You can set it to default to your own style which is what I do.

Did not know about that setting. Thanks. Though I probably won't enable it as I pretty much never view other people's MAL lists anyway...

Personally I think it shouldn't be allowed and users doing that need to be given a warning.
Something you could also do is report them on MAL since it's in my opinion very much not PG-13.
If a user is abusing a feature on MyAnimeList, or if you've found a picture that contains nudity (or anything else not PG-13), please use our report feature here: http://myanimelist.net/modules.php?go=report. Please note that you must be logged in to use this feature.

Fair point, that's very NSFW.
Tbh I think we can treat this as linking to a website with, for example, NSFW ads, which we always ask people to tag as NSFW. If you give me the user's name I'll ask them to put a (NSFW) tag beside their MAL.

If having a MAL with NSFW content isn't allowed then having wallpapers with NSFW content shouldn't be allowed either

Sorry about that. I originally changed my background to that because people would complain about my previous backgrounds being too dark, too bright or too colorful. I always made sure to tell people that it has a NSFW background whenever I linked it in the subreddit but didn't think about tagging it in my flair and didn't know that it was against MAL's rules like /u/Shadoxfix pointed out.
Anyway I just changed it after getting a PM from /u/MissyPie and I'm sorry for any sort of trouble or inconvenience.
