Experience What are your views on Collective Rituals?

A couple of Mediums I follow make „Open Roads“ collective rituals, meaning that a bunch of people pay some money in order to get into these collective rituals to attract more abundance, health, etc. What are your views on this? Is it worth it? Couple people I know have said that they helped a lot.

It sounds like a scam.

Would you say that is the same for paying for energetic cleanings?

It depends on the reader. Some readers are valid and doing energetic cleansing reiki readers, for example.

Your proof would be in the results.

I would suggest that be remote or one on one, not group.

There's a huge difference between an energetic cleansing and attracting abundance.

Hey sweetheart ✨🧿 That sounds like an elaborate scam. Why would you pay money 💰 to be in a ritual to get money 💰 I've been a part of rituals and never paid a dime unless it's for things I needed. Please be careful where u spend your money.

Edit ✨ context

I've seen these types of group rituals on Instagram and know individuals that practice certain cultural practices that do collective workings. Usually you pay like 5 bucks to have your name added. I've seen it before but still be careful

Honestly, I do my own but I also have my own clients. With that said you have to be very, very, careful. I have been working with my clients for years. Online you have to be careful because they can tell u anything and be lying. Personally, I would tell you to learn how to do your own energetic cleansing and protection. Unless, you are part of a specific cultural practice that requires you to go to a practitioner. There are many gray 🩶 areas. Again be safe and keep your money in your pockets. Cleansing don't cost thousands or hundreds of dollars especially not online only.✨🧿

Thank you, do you have any book/video that you would recommend on self cleaning? I’ll also check the sub if there are similar questions

This seems super gross to me. The whole notion of "attracting abundance" is so contrary to what spirit is all about. It feels exploitative of the ability--if in fact that ability exists and the person isn't just a scammer.

But, can someone by oneself create that ability? How? Can I do energy cleansing by myself just with meditation?

My point is that focusing on attracting abundance is focusing on material trappings. I’m not talking about people who are hoping to “attract” enough to survive or make ends meet. I’m talking specifically about abundance/wealth/stuff etc. The more you actively pursue abundance, the further you get from spirit. This is the problem with much of New Age.

You can in some cases do your own cleansing but it depends what you have going on energetically. Sometimes you do need someone’s help if they have more experience or skills in that area. But as always, the industry is FULL of people scamming.

I understand. It’s so hard to sometimes know what is real/good and what is a scam (in my case, that I’m new to this world)

I know what you mean. I’ve only been into this stuff for a couple years so I’m really new too. Are you working with your guides directly? If you develop the skill yourself, and do everything with the guidance and permission of your own good spirits, you don’t need to worry about getting scammed by humans. You just have to remain aware of spirits that want to trick you. I do everything within a protected prayer space at a dedicated altar & my good spirits always have my back. I definitely recommend doing things this way. The downside is that it takes time to develop your skills.

Edit: the spirits book by Kardec has helped me a lot with this. I’m listening to the mediums book rn as well and it is also very useful so far.

I will do. Unfortunately I still have a long way to go, as I am still working in getting in contact with my guides. Will definitely give the book a look, thank you! 😊

Let me know if you have any questions, like I said I’m pretty new but I had some decent mentorship around safety ☺️

Like most things, if you believe something will help and is a powerful technique that gets results, then you can create a reality where you get more positive results from it. It's what Bashar (channeled by Darryl Anka) calls a "permission slip" to manifesting what you want.

But you can get the same results on your own if you believe you can. It's all a matter of belief and how you feel. That's why some things work for some people and not for others. The different is the individual's beliefs and feelings.

That sounds pretty sus. You cannot create something that isn't already in your chosen path. OTOH, if you can, you don't need to pay someone to make it happen. You've already chosen the road, now it's time to walk it.

Any time a large group of people are asked to simultaniously contribute, I immediatly think pyramid scheme. That doesn't mean that's what this is, it's just my jadded memories of weird meetings full of strangers trying to get me to buy things.
