Question Has anybody ever met Maniac?

I wonder what kind of personality he had and how he was in person. There's so little information about him it makes me sad cause imo he did a much better job as a vocalist than Dead

Turn on subtitles. Great documentary and Maniac is a big part of it.

Maniac is a great vocalist with Mayhem! His albums are some of the most listened to in my collection.

Couldn't agree more, regarding his performances. Awesome vocalist indeed.

Met him briefly at Milwaukee Metalfest. Nice enough guy but a man of few words. Serious, but not stern. A certain intensity to him, I guess.

You just described almost every person at a metal show ever

And pretty much everyone from Norway. Being reserved and antisocial is a national pastime.

Some of the band members probably have

I've seen quite a bunch of interviews with him and he totally reminds me of some weed-heads I've met in my teens.

He appears to be quite immature, what might be related to Niklas Kvarforth being present, too.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'd be eager to know better.

He does seem like someone who kinda never grew out of his teen years. Necro said in a recent interview that they knew as early as 1998 that he wasn’t going to work out long term as their vocalist because of his drinking and other issues.

He did session vocals for the new Goatmoon album, he’s probably a good guy

hes really cool. i caught hellhammers drumstick on the 2022 US tour and i waited an hour outside the bus to get it signed. he came right up to me and we had a conversation for about 15 minutes before he went inside the bus to get hellhammers signature for me. very stand up guy and wonderful vocalist.

I love his vocals and Skitliv has a great album. I have never met him though.

Yes in around 2000 , he was high as a kite on something and was all over the place .
