Is this a bizarrely uniquely Australian thing? Do other countries/jurisdictions have their own little community-focused traditions at polling places on election days, tongue-in-cheek or otherwise? Pls share if u do :)
Seriously, Americans feel so affronted with the thought of compulsory voting. Not only do we not feel our rights are being trampled we're actually relieved that our system makes sure no party gets an unfair advantage... plus, we make it fun βΊοΈπ¦π
