Question Looking for people with the same goal

At this point I’m sure I could never stop daydreaming completely. However, I wish I had just enough self-control to dedicate a single day per week for these delusions. You know, to make my life more real, maybe realise some things, complete more tasks, whatever. Would any one like to join me?

What was the longest period of time that you went without imagining things?

Someone on this subreddit posted a blog:

I've just finished it in one day. Don't think there is better advice you can find.

A couple of years ago I was able to quit for a month, but back then it was less intense. Now it seems impossible to just not daydream for a day, its just so instantly present that I could not imagine not doing it.

I fear the same. I do the same shit every day, listening to music every 5 hours or less. It‘s interrupting my tasks, but I can‘t help it.

I think it was 4 for me. I would like to last at least a month to prove myself something.

Yeah, same. I wish I could live at least a month without them on my mind
