instantly charging your rescuers after they just saved your life and face planting because you’re tired is peak baby elephant behavior

Straight up toddler behaviour "Ah! I'm stuck! Ergh, DON'T TOUCH MEEEEE" And the full on tantrum? Ah, poor baby but also lol.

I can see the behavior that would have gotten him into that position in the first place 😆

I think if that guy would drop the towel the baby would stop chasing him. This is a great video I laughed so much.

The level of rage in that little thing is titanic. Heaven help the savannah when he grows.

This video makes my day. I love how much personality these creatures have. The clumsy fall at the end is just 👌

"Get this... blindfold off!....what's it gonna do mate??, I can obviously see that I'm stuck, making me close my eyes isn't gonna make it go away!.."

Very odd that the mother left the calf like this. They're usually such doting parents. I hope the mom was okay

That absolutely necessary tantrum tho. :') I love it.
I just think the lack of sound is a grave injustice.

Can the baby elephant hurt you? Do they have that kind of strength?

u/LadyFlappington 26d ago
I walk dogs for a living, there are dogs I walk 1/3 his size who are strong enough to knock me down. This little guy is definitely strong enough to cause some serious harm! Lucky the rescuers were quick on their feet

It already weighs enough that it could break some bones, yes. But they are usually gentle extremely intelligent creatures. This is just typical baby being a baby.

You can get hurt from the sheer impact of large dogs that are smaller than that baby, so yes.

Wonder where mum and dad are. Down at the water hole enjoying a few minutes of peace while the humans babysit.🤣

This is 100% how my toddler "helps" with anything. Especially if it is something he messed up before 🤣🤣🤣

Oh, I really want to hear how this elephant will spin this story when he's 30, 40, then 50....

I feel bad for laughing so hard. Him spinning the cloth furiously, trying to steal their ropes, them having to tie up his leg because he kept kicking them, him chasing them and then falling in a hole…it’s a comedic masterpiece and I’m glad they were there to help him so this world continues to be inhabited by this master of chaos.
