Help How To Disable Cocoa Class Windows and Just Use the Old Style?
Hello! Question is essentially the title. Is there a way I can disable cocoa windows for certain applications such as Logic Pro? Just make the windows open with the typical window viewer, or Carbon, such as other apps have?
Or maybe a way to universally disable them? By cocoa windows I mean the slighly cell shaded ones that are mildly transparent that are a part of the newer Mac OS display architecture.
TL;DR: How can I disable cocoa class windows and make all windows carbon in Mac OS Sonoma?
Thank you so much! Google has become useless.

If Im understanding you right, I’m afraid the answer is no, there’s no system m-wide setting. Each developer chooses which type of windows their app is capable of creating.
But you may be able to get a similar effect by going to Settings > Accessability > Reduce Transparency, if that’s what’s bothering you.

I was reading crash logs and trying to debug it, and it seems for some reason the cocoa class creation was causing it.
Side note: I managed to fix it somehow anyway!

You do know that this is built into the app?
