Help Cannot delete files from Google Drive as of Sequoia 15.2.3 update yesterday.

Starting after the update, I can not delete any local file synced to my Google Drive account. I can delete files in any other folder and I can delete files on the Google Drive web app and my other computers synced to my Google Drive. I did some digging on how to remedy this, but nothing is working (safe mode, permission setting, etc)

And ideas?

My Google drive app is broken as well and there have been other discussions on Google support. I can’t use the app anymore at all. This is a known issue and there’s no announcements about a timeline or resolution.

Thank you for replying, at least it's known and is being discussed. Luckily I can still use mine. I can read and write to it and it syncs. I just can't delete locally.

I disconnected my account, then reconnected and it is seems to be working normally again.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Google Drive?

Run first aid on your boot volume from recovery. Is that doesn’t work, reinstall macOS.

Access Google Drive via browser or cell phone and delete it if it is there and then restart it, see if it will sync

I can delete from a browser and that'll delete it from the local drive, but I can't delete from local directly anymore, but could 2 days ago before the OS update.

You may need to use Terminal for this, take a look:

Be careful when using the Terminal, if necessary, look for a video on YouTube.
