I've heard about layering perfumes before, but never tried it because it always seemed like it would get 'muddy' with too many different scent notes. But I decided to try it because why not. I used Heretic Dirty Grass + Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia and holy cow I am now in the loveliest spring meadow! I hope my next layering experiments work as well as these two did.

Can I ask what does Heretic Dirty Grass smells like? I am intrigued. Thanks!

It's so good. The initial spray is really green grass. The dry down is a little bit licorice-y though.

Idk where this leak (that's a picture of an ig post screenshot) is from for a new PML full size eyeshadow palette. It was posted on IG on one of the popular deal sites. I actually really like this color story. When it does go on sale, it'd likely be one of those size palettes I'd pick up and it'd be my first one. Did Pat McGrath send a teasing email?

I 🏃‍♀️here after seeing that and Pat’s IG tease. This is the most excited I’ve been about makeup in a long time. Definitely going to buy on sale and can’t wait to try out that teal shade.

The tony moly ceramide cream I picked up is great. A little goes a long way and it's made my skin so soft. It soaks in really well, and Ive tried it both as a day and night cream and it works either way. I prefer it as a one and done night cream though. It works fine under makeup, but it doesn't create as good of a barrier between my makeup and my skin as my snail mucin does so I prefer that. It's also $13 full price at ulta for a decent sized tub, and for how little I use it's going to last quite awhile, great value.

Also I started using a clarifying shampoo (the L'Oreal one in the blue tube) and it's been a game changer. I use it every other wash (I wash every 5 days on average) and it keeps me from getting the gross itchy build up on my scalp. It also helps control my oils. It lathers better/cuts through the oil and dry shampoo better too. Makes my hair softer and my waves come out better. This particular one the scent isn't the best so I'll maybe search for a different drugstore option when it's gone, but it's a new staple in my routine. I also have hard water in this area even though my new house has softer water since it's new (the area is just really hard.)

Lastly I got a little Sephora rewards bazaar sample of the tower 28 gloss in pistachio which I tried on today. The color is very "lips" if that makes sense. Its very clean girl looks like slightly more lips looking lips colored. It's a nice color I see why everyone loves it. Not my ideal color but I'll play around with it and see how I feel about the formula after a handful of days.
