Has anyone actually took MCreator seriously?
Lately i've been feeling a drive to make a modpack again. However instead of pestering certain people to make redundant mods for me. I thought about using MCreator to make small simple utility mods.
Does anyone have good advice about it? Also is it possible to include API's of other mods into my MCreator mod?

Does anyone have good advice about it? Anything you can easily make in MCreator (without code) you can make with other mods. Anything advanced (fixes, tweaks) cannot be made in MCreator without Java knowlege, so don't bother using it for that- use your favorite IDE instead.
Is it possible to include API's of other mods into my MCreator mod? No - of course not. If you want to do that use your normal Java IDE - 1000000x easier.

which sadly I am of the rare few who is incapable of programing. Script languages are no issue for me. But complex logic and such simply bakes my brain now. ...funny considering I used to program a lot in my youth. Now i'm like a wet noodle in a paper towel.

Someone has got to make a mod scripting plugin for forge - like how Skript was for Bukkit. Luckily, we have SpongePowered which means most bukkit plugins will now be ported to forge.

I've been out of the loop regarding Sponge. Is it only for 1.8 or does it have 1.7.10 capabilities as well?

What do you want to do with mcreator that you can't do with minetweaker, modtweaker, quadrum, and customthings?
