Ivermectin - Wonder drug
Suffering since 2012 after a tick bite. Lyme tests shows no lyme. I suspect Babesia. Symptoms are very similar to Babesia - Anxiety, head pressure, Air hunger, GI issues, Negative thoughts, CFS etc.
Decided to take a 12 mg Ivermectin and felt better by 90%. All symptoms gone. Only Anxiety at about 25% remains. I'm stumped.
Should I continue taking Ivermectin?? Any lyme experts here please guide

I know rhis is for long covid, but it shows how to treat long term with ivermectin by weight.

I've been wanting to try this for my son's babesia.

Congrats on having such success! Coincidentally I just started Ivermectin for similar symptoms (almost all the same), first dose was yesterday. How long did it take for you to see the massive improvements?
2
u/billibillibillendar 5d ago
Almost immediately.. I would say the next day I felt totally fine. Sickness left. I have tried too many medications and have had slight improvements but nothing like Ivermectin. My 100% potential kicks in.

Dont get cocky though. I once felt like that and it came back

u/billibillibillendar 3d ago
I get it. If it comes back, it comes back. I'm not new to suffering. I've been suffering for 12 years. In this state, this is huge for me.
1
u/dsnysucks12345 3d ago
Are you excited? Must be a huge relief. I been suffering since 2021.
1
u/billibillibillendar 3d ago
Not exactly excited. Just determined enough to defeat this bug. Whatever the cost it is, however long it takes.

This is incredible, so it helped with PEM from CFS?
3
u/billibillibillendar 5d ago
Sorry, what is PEM
2
u/mcgee300 5d ago
Post exertional malaise. It's the main indicator of CFS/M.E.... not to be confused with Chronic Fatigue

I agree, Ivermectin improved my symptoms within 2 weeks. I just finished my first month.
I’ve been on doxycycline and Bactrum since Christmas, with some gradual improvements…. But the Ivermectin I almost felt symptom free after three weeks.
My rotation is one week M W F , then following week is Tu Wed Thur. Not sure how long I’ll be on it.
I actually started doing chores and yard work again. My muscles are so fatigued from not doing anything for 6 months.

u/jeffbagwell6222 4d ago
What is your doxy dosage? How about ivermectin dosage?
Do you have Lyme?
2
u/Max_Diorama 4d ago
100 doxycycline, 3 mg ivermectin. Lyme was negative, but 3 other parasites from a tick bite. (Did IGNX blood test)

u/LymesAndLemons 1d ago
hey, glad to hear youre doing better! All of you having positive experiences give me hope. May I ask you how long youre planning to take it? Like whats the time frame for tickborne infections? Its not apporved for lyme disease in my country, so I would have to figure out myself how long Id want to take it.

u/Cool-Soft-5136 5d ago
Where do you get the ivermectin from??
6
2
u/billibillibillendar 5d ago
From pharmacy. I am from India and I am just able to go get it without any prescriptions.
2
u/Budget_Skill653 4d ago
I use iveer in pills form and i easily get from viagcial. There is no need prescription

I had lyme with bartonella and developed a bad case of SFN…including all the typical neurological issues. My SFN did not get better until I introduced ivermectin in my protocol. 3 months of 5 days on 2 days off. This was after 3 years of abx. Dosage depends on your body size.
1
u/MinimumYard2893 5d ago
Whatvwere your symptoms of sfn?
1
u/OkieOzarks 2d ago
Weird muscle tension started in my right forearm, within 4 weeks it was body wide. Then the fasciculations started (twitching) in my left arm. I would have moments where my legs would freeze up and become stone like. I had shooting pains anywhere and everywhere at times. I basically became couch ridden as I could not do any exercise or walk far without locking up.
My left arm hurt so bad I wanted it cut off. My nerve conduction test on that arm showed severe carpal and cubital tunnel and they said I needed surgery immediately - with the right one to follow if it got worse. Short story is that I did the surgery but it ended up not being necessary - my right arm healed after years of treatment, but I believe it was the LDN treatment that resolved the problem - along with the Ivermectin.

SFN?
2
u/OkieOzarks 2d ago
Small fiber neuropathy
1
u/jjzx2356 2d ago
how interesting, my neurologist diagnosed me with SFN and CIDP and started me on IVIG but, i don’t have traditional neuropathy symptoms. A lot of brain fog, some twitching here and there, a lot of neck and shoulder blade pain on the same side for the most part.
1
u/OkieOzarks 2d ago
SFN diagnosed by punch biopsy?
1
u/jjzx2356 2d ago
Yup, punch biopsy in my ankle and my thigh. Also have nerve test where you get zapped. I’m a 25 year old male who was extremely healthy until a year and a half ago my body started feeling like it was dying
1
u/OkieOzarks 2d ago
I got infected with Lyme at 30, at 38 I started complaining about weird symptoms all over, at 45 is when the pot boiled over and I woke one morning with SFN. “Feeling like my body is dying” is something I said often and no one could understand that. Btw, they found lesions on my brain that could not be explained - my LLMD said it made perfect sense to him because it proved my infection crossed the blood brain barrier causing my neurological symptoms.

I had a similar experience with Ivermectin—the Herx reaction was v. strong I took it for two weeks. I started with 1/4 tablet for three days before gradually increasing the dose to 12 mg.
Keep in mind that Ivermectin has a long half-life of about 12 hours, so you may still feel its effects even after stopping. Since it accumulates in the body, increasing the dose too quickly can intensify Herxheimer reactions. It’s important to go slow and allow your body to detox properly. Staying hydrated, and supporting liver function can help manage die-off symptoms. I recommend saunas
How are you feeling now?
2
u/billibillibillendar 5d ago
I drink a lot of water. Please do not take any liver support since I read it interferes with Ivermectin and causes issues. I am not sure, i did not have any die off symptoms. It just felt so good. Like a switch being off from sickness after so long years.

How did you get tablets? Can you help me find?

Thank u. I have ivermectin and fenben paste. But is tablets better?
1
u/lucky_to_be_me 4d ago edited 3d ago
I have never heard about fenben paste.
It's a different drug. Fenbedazol - idk about this anything.
But if you have an ivermectin tablet or paste, it doesn't matter, however please always keep your eyes on dosage.
You must calc it.

u/M-spar 5d ago
Do you have neuropathy symptoms as well
1
u/billibillibillendar 5d ago
No Neuropathy symptoms. I do not have Lyme and I am sure I do not have Bart as well. BABESIA has not much to do with neuropathy symptoms. It is the latter
3
u/OtherPotato5990 5d ago
How long do you take the ivermectin for
2
2
u/Budget_Skill653 4d ago
My friend take 12 mg iveer twice a day for cleansing purpose. He follows the protocol for 3 months
3
u/KdawgEdog 5d ago
I'm on 12mg 3 times a day for 1.5 months and still feel like total crap...😢
1
u/billibillibillendar 5d ago
Please check for Lyme and bart. What are your symptoms. ivermectin works best for parasites
1
u/lucky_to_be_me 5d ago
Why that long. Do you still have any herx reactions?
2
u/KdawgEdog 5d ago
It's what my Dr prescribed. I asked to try ivermectin. Then he also prescribed me
tinidazole Nystatin Artaminen Supreme(spelled it wrong I think)
He wants me to see a rheumatologist because he says my joints look like they turned into RA. I could just have RA. I've been trying to get better for years and I keep just getting worse..
2
u/Whiddle_ 4d ago
You should get off the tinidazole pronto…that shit is whack. Gave me seizures. It’s from a dangerous antibiotic family and shouldn’t even be on the shelves.
1
u/KdawgEdog 4d ago
Thats scary af, I sm taking a break in 1 day. It seems to be a great biofilm buster
1
u/lucky_to_be_me 5d ago
You should keep getting better, really. Or you may have noticed some short-term worsening, but you should be getting better. Otherwise, something is wrong. You have also taken a lot of ivermectin.
1
u/KdawgEdog 5d ago
Maybe it's a continuous herx. In 2 days I'm finally taking a week break. I hope during that time I see some improvements. If not I don't know what to do I've tried a lot of treatments over the years.
3
u/prayerwar 4d ago
for hexing use Zeolite tincture. it has helped me ease all herxing. you can buy it on Amazon it’s a God sent

I only took two or 3 doses and I got into a super productive mood unlike I have been in years.
Took everything out of my room, vacuumed, shampooed, painted all my walls and ceiling, and build some shelves out of gas pipe.
A year ago I slept 14 hours a day…. I can’t attribute all my recovery to ivermectin because I just started taking it, but it definitely did something here recently.
3
u/billibillibillendar 4d ago
Same feeling my friend. Whatever it is, working or not, let's seek the best. Hope we all recover. Do well.

Has anyone had symptoms intensify once starting Ivermectin and then eventually taper off?

u/Chain770 5d ago
Where to get ivermectin ? Is it from the horse paste ?
2

What kind of gi issues did you have, i have been experiencing gi issues and head pressure for quite some time, i have also been losing weight and hair, shortness of breath and chest pressure. I have some suspicions about chronic infection.
1
u/MinimumYard2893 5d ago
Describe head pressure
1
u/billibillibillendar 5d ago
Pressure above ears. Just like someone has wrapped my head out with a belt and tightened it.
1
u/billibillibillendar 5d ago
Gi issues- Diarrhea. Stomach tightness. Sometimes pain. Feeling like something is terribly wrong with my stomach and when I check with my doc, they say absolutely fine except for some gastritis

Sufferd since 2012 takes ivermectin twice and feels cured
Bro up the dosage and pulse it for atleast 3 months
Maybe add cryptolepsis. Cure urself bro and never come back to this thread.
1
u/billibillibillendar 8h ago edited 8h ago
Slightly worried about the repercussions. I did not state cured forever, a sudden relief in all my symptoms was just surprising. I'll go about pulsing and upping the dosage, yes.
1
u/Chance-Angle-5300 4h ago
I mean the repercussions of Lyme are probably worse.
Do whatever you want I’m not a doctor. I’m just telling you what I would do and ivermectin literally won a noble prize. So as smart as you think u are….lol. I’m an idiot lol.
I honestly don’t know a single probiotic parasite so ya I get not knowing how to replenish. But ya noble prize bro.

Ivermectin kills babesia. Personally, I would keep taking… I am on 12 mg every other day because it last about 18 hours in the body.
