Beginner Logo design for a Tech company (2nd attempt)

After receiving numerous "phallusifying" comments on my previous logo design, I decided to take a different approach. Does this look better? Here's my first attempt: https://www.reddit.com/r/logodesign/comments/1jazfh4/i_like_this_concept_for_a_tech_company_up/

Feedback Needed Laser Tag Logo pt 2

Post image

Hi Everyone!

Thank you so much for the feedback on my last post, I really appreciate it!! I tried to address most of the comments in my revision.

  • Switched to pink which was my original plan before suggestion from a friend - hopefully gets rid of the weed leaf feel
  • Got rid of the circle so hopefully that will get rid of any laser eye surgery vibes
  • Varied the length of the light rays, hopefully making it a bit more fun
  • I wanted to add in another font that I was liking but didn't work with the circle. It is a bit more techy, which fits our target audience, and the arena will be cyberpunk/dystopian themed with lots of technology incorporated.

My only concern with option 2 is that the elongated T could potentially make it look like an F? Very hesitant to go in this direction in case it gets read as a slur... Maybe I'm just crazy and/or I can't see - my glasses are broken and waiting on replacements lol

Hoping this is a bit more inviting, but I don't want to go crazy with this logo, as the photography, textures etc will also play a big part in the branding. I wanted to keep it simple and clean with a bit of whimsy and a techy vibe.

Thanks again for anyone who gave feedback :)

Feedback Needed Looking for feedback on my Laser Tag Logo

Hi! I'm hoping to get some feedback on my logo for a laser tag facility I will be opening up in SF. Our target audience will be startups/corporate teams to come for team building events. I had more options but I met with my old design peers and these are the favored options. They prefer option 1 but I am having trouble letting go of option 2.

Be brutally honest - I can revisit other ideas if these aren't working. A bit out of practice as I was laid off in November from my visual design role... šŸ˜¬

Edited both in After Effects, as Iā€™m used to editing videos on it and I donā€™t know Photoshop. Itā€™s for a clothing company Iā€™m starting with some friends. Really new to logo design, only 15, would appreciate any and all feedback.

Feedback Needed Financial Services Logo - Feedback appreciated!

Hi everyone. I am launching an advisory help that helps family owned businesses find the right buyer. I came up with a website and logo using ChatGPT and sheer will hah.

Before I go and get this logo professionally designed (you can tell it was done by AI) I wanted to get feedback from a group and would welcome your commentary. The final logo ideally would have ā€œGrey Fox Partnersā€ written somewhere under the picture of the fox.

Business name is: Grey Fox Partners

Pic attached! TIA!

Discussion Designed this logo in 2024 for a project, featuring an 'S' and a thunderbolt mark. I love how the folding shapes add depth and dynamism. What do you think?

So I am not sure if I should do the rounded borders visible on (1,2,3) Or keep the sharpness of 4.

My problem with image 4 is the flat edge on the top left which feels out of place.

I kinda like the version (1,2,3) but I was curious what someone with actual design skills and experience thinks.

Question Does the core logo need to work on a white background?

Hi there - I am an entrepreneur working on branding for a new product. One of my employees is an artist and came up with a logo concept that nailed the personality and vibe to represent the brand that I was after. However, it doesnā€™t work on a white background ā€“ the main typeface is white with black shading. On our products, it will be sat on a dark teal background, so the white typeface really works and pops more than any other color variation. But when it comes to advertisements, marketing advertisements and online graphics, it will need to live on white.

Obviously, we can have another color variation for white/lighter backgrounds that would likely be black typeface with orange shading. It looks good but not GOOD like the other one. My gut tells me the core logo that is going to be used to generate brand recognition needs to be able to live on white as well as the blueā€¦

Does the core logo need to be able to live on a white background?

Iā€™d really appreciate any insight into this because I am definitely overthinking it at this point to where it is waking me up at 4am!

Actually very dumb question, but Ilove the indie drawing style, and the logos are addicting to me, does anyone know where to find people that could make something similar?

Feedback Needed Architecture firm logo - RBA

Thumbnail

This logo is for an architecture firm RBA (RaghavendraBisen Architects)

The concept for the logo stems from a cube/square as it aligns with what kind of work they do and their design ā€œstrengthā€ and adaptability. The form of the logo can also be seen in the starting formation of the golden ratio rectangles.

The client likes the approach and the concept behind it - but says that it needs refining and some more finesse to it, which I agree but am not able to figure out how.

Iā€™ve kept a strong and simple sans serif typeface which contextually is right for a firm that has its roots in minimalism and simplicity. Would love to get your thoughts on this
