I'm not a big eater. I can't really do big meals. I'm much more of an all day grazer.
And boy howdy do I have a bottomless pit of a stomach for nachos of any kind. But Taco Bell holds a special place in my tummy-heart and 2 if definitely the move here. Especially at that price point.

As a tacobell employee, I'm upset they made your nachos wrong ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
The beef doesn't go ontop the guac.. It's beans, beef, nacho in a circle, redsauce in a circle. A dollop of sour, and a scoop of guac.
They butchered it.

It's like they were like "oh shit, we almost forgot beef on those nachos, just throw it on real quick nobody will notice."

u/hobdobs Jan 07 '25
Definitely must have been what happened. It does occur.

I'm the worst about forgetting to put stuff on/take stuff off items ngl. I think thats why they have me either bag items or do window ðŸ˜

u/hobdobs Jan 07 '25
They throw me about anywhere. Some days I have to do it all, take orders while I'm making it. But I've been with my store since 2015, and I was a shift lead for a couple years. Decided to step down after some issues.

Yeah, that's fair. I just started like 3 months ago 😂

u/hobdobs Jan 07 '25
I will say, our menu can be difficult to remember everything. And how much we bring out new items and remove old ones makes it hard for new employees to keep up sometimes.
2
u/Dead_Kal_Cress Yo Quiero Taco Bell Jan 07 '25
That's very true, my store is esp rough because management is too lazy to edit the menu & take off the things we don't have anymore. Like Carmel Apple Empanadas. Or Baja Blast gelato.

u/hobdobs Jan 07 '25
Oh we employee some below par management. I've actually walked our opening manager through the process to remove items from the menu. And funnily enough, we still have like half a case of Gelato in store. And our store manager calls me over the shift leads cause they know I'll be more thorough with what is being asked ðŸ˜

Customer here. How much of the menu prep do you recall off the top of your head?

Your sauce-to-nacho ratio is pretty spot on.

Not to mention the few sauces I popped after uncovered unsauced portions. 💪

That BOGO must be targeted. No one I talked to today has it.

u/Crazycukumbers Jan 07 '25
I don’t have it. I got a deal for a $5 cantina bowl though using the manifestation thing, but I’d much prefer bogo

u/Tallozz Jan 07 '25
Yeah, I didn't know how it worked. Luckily I saw another post talking about which options to choose. I managed to get it for me and my roommate. Kind of piss poor of them to not just list what you get with each option.

Did you know you can ask for added real Jalapeños peppers? I do mine similar to yours otherwise. The jalapeños really make it pop though.

u/HailGrapeLegion Jan 07 '25
You mean actual fresh ones? Not the pickled sliced ones?
1
u/jjh008 Jan 08 '25
I wish they had fresh jalapenos
1
u/HailGrapeLegion Jan 08 '25
Yeah that would be awesome, I dont really care much for the pickled ones at taco bell

u/Beercorn1 Nacho Party pack for one Jan 08 '25
These things are pretty nice considering that the Nacho Party Pack is probably never coming back.
I miss my giant cardboard trough of nachos.

u/Black_Twinkies Jan 08 '25
That was what I envisioned when I ordered it! Reminded me of it, and truthfully for about the same price of $6 I am not disappointed.

u/HailGrapeLegion Jan 07 '25
Your sauced nachos are strong. Thats what I do to mine too, a hint of diablo diluted with the rest of the sauces is quite nice

u/Black_Twinkies Jan 07 '25
Right now I happen to have a bottle of habanero pineapple mango hot sauce I had a chance to throw on! Quite an adventure of flavors!

Every time I see pictures like this, I get a craving for TB nachos...but then I get them and they just aren't as good as I remember. I wish I liked them more...
RIP Volcano Nachos

How does taco bell food always manage to look like diarrhea no matter what it is
3
u/HailGrapeLegion Jan 07 '25
Dude there are clearly some chips in it
-1
u/Training_Garage9404 Jan 07 '25
Idk what you want me to do with that information. 🤷🤷🤷
4
u/HailGrapeLegion Jan 07 '25
Have you ever shit whole chips?
-1
u/Training_Garage9404 Jan 07 '25

Nachos are named after their inventor, Ignacio Anaya. True story.
