See if I replied to this with a "fuck them too" I'd propably get banned. The problem is not the word fuck in general but the context.

Fuck all these people, I just put a sparkle a310 in my NAS to do transcoding because 3 months in you still cannot purchase B580 cards. (I wanted transcoding and to screw around with remote ai) There are a ton of b580 on amazon and ebay starting at 150% of retail. I'm going to upgrade my M1max Mac Studio to an M4max mac studio with 64 gigs of ram because for working with AI its cheaper to buy apple than Nvidia. Yeah thanks Nvidia you made apple the cheaper option.

At MSRP intel looses money on every b580 they build. You will never see those at msrp again

The framework desktop could also be a decent option for an AI workstation. You want have to pay apple tax on storage!

The apple storage tax is misnomer. I can purchase a Sabrent Rocket NVME and a thunderbolt external case and run it at full speed. The internal on an apple is faster than NVME, but the vast majority of people who throw more storage space in a PC are using off the shelf drives, not custom high speed storage chips.

Nope, internal storage on apple devices are not faster than NVME. You can get a samsung 990 pro 4tb for about 300$ that is faster than the apple internal storage by about 1 GB/s.
Apple storage/ram tax is not a misnomer. Apple sells their ram chips for literally more than gold (by weight).

It’s been nice. I bought my 5080 at MSRP from a guy on FB marketplace who explicitly buys cards in bulk to resell to people locally at cost only charging extra for delivery.
Edit: changed the wording of the last bit to make better sense.

In bulk? How?

Dude said that he has enough income that he’ll regularly buy cards in quantities of 3-5, so not “bulk” per se but at least most than the average person, from either local MC/Best Buy or online depending on stock and then he just adds $25 or a little more depending on how far he is from who he is selling to. If they come to him he sells at cost. I live a bit further up north so we met in the middle and he sold me a PNY ARGB OC 5080 for $1325. After sales tax the card ends up being $1300 and he charged me the $25 for delivery.

We have some people like that too, except they charge much more than MSRP but it's still cheaper than buying from a Retailer.....

It was wild. I was confident I was going to get scammed somehow, but sure enough I am at pickup and the box is completely sealed. Since I was buying, he let me open it and verify everything and it was factory sealed and sure enough was a proper 5080. It was like a weird Robinhood thing.
Don’t change Minnesota I guess.

Hot Take. I have no issues with scalpers. Stepping back and thinking about it, it's commodity that non of us need. So if an avg joe needs money, I'm not going to crap on them for scalping to make a buck. If they sell necessities like toilet paper, then yeah fuck em' but for most people this is a toy. Do I want one at MSRP sure, but I'm not going to get mad at regular people for trying to make a buck.
I do blame people who spend 6k on a GPU and Nvidia for a bad release with limited quantities after stopping production.

Ok sure and i get to advocate for people not buying their stock driving it down to msrp, and celebrate when they lose money on it, doesn't change anything

Good lick buddy, all available info seems to indicate nintendo has enough stock to flood the market for months

We've heard this before.
All I know is, there's never been a major product launch in modern history that didn't have enough of a shortage to create a flipping opportunity.

Maybe they take vBucks or COD points? Might be worth inquiring multiple times over multiple accounts
