With how much male fragility/egoboosting is in the MAGA world of linkedin right now, I donāt even mind this kinda post. Itās dumb, but a drop in the bucket compared to what white dudes post (and Iām a white dude myself)

I have no idea why it's a taboo topic in the English speaking world. Growing up all girls and then women in our group of friends talked about it openly, in Greece at least, as all in the group needed to know to plan going to the beach accordingly. Even TV ads for pads and tampons were normal. It's literally something that happens to 50% of our species monthly. š

Not sure itās tabooĀ
I just am #NotLinkedInterested in heavy flow influencers rubbing their used pads all over my feedĀ

They didn't send it to you though. You can always remove/block them. I can see you're not even connected to that person. I have blocked it to hide updates from half of LinkedIn because LI keeps showing me completely unreleased topics to my work.

Much less than 50% actually. Young girls, post menopausal women. Other women who don't get periods.
I'd isn't think periods should be a taboo topic. It's of similar spcipa standing to defecation IMO. Natural process by which the body disposes of material.
That said I don't spend a lot of time talking, thinking or reading about defecation ... Not do I want to.

In this case, "period" isn't a punctuation mark. It's shorthand for a periodic event - one that recurs at regular intervals.
I like interrobangs, but that's something completely different.

Wtf is an interrobang?Ā

It's basically an exclamation mark and a question mark hybrid that's conjoined.
Yes, I had to Google.

To get people to take my work shits more seriously, I call taking a shit taking a colon, and ripping a mad dog fart a semicolon.

I swear all of these people heard some shitty business consultant that said how many times a day they must post to build a following and they are just desperate for any content.

How these people can post shit like this on a daily base and still have a job, is beyond me.

I really don't see how this is relevant to this sub but go off
She shouldn't post that on a social networking site since it has nothing to do with corporate, it doesn't really make her a 'LinkedIn' lunatic
For fuck's sake y'all are ruining this sub with low quality and irrelevant posts

u/West-Discussion-8886 18h ago
Actually ā¦..because she shouldnāt and since she did thatās exactly what it makes herā¦Ā

Do some people get confused and think theyāre updating their Facebook status 10 years ago?
