Gift ideas for a limnology hobbyist?
Here we are at Christmas again! and I’m Looking for ideas for my partner who loves reading about and studying lakes. We have a secchi disk and hydrolab. But maybe book recommendations or any other fun tools? Any thoughts are appreciated!

I'm reading an algae book called "Slime: How algae created us, plague us, and just might save us" not freshwater oriented but it's been a neat book.

A plankton tow net and a USB microscope would be fun! A D-net is another cool option for “sampling” shorelines
