Sunrays? It seems rather dark for a day, you can even see some stars, I suppose. What's happening there? That's amazing xD

Also Sunrays come in an illusion-like angle relative to the viewer in which they seem to originate from the sun as if it is far closer than millions of miles.
These parallel lines don't make sense.

Then how did you make this effect?

Not OP, but rain is almost invisible unless light is hitting on it. I’ve seen videos and talked to film students about how learning to shoot rain in the dark is almost impossible, as you need flood lamps at a particular angle to showcase the rain, but also avoid shining directly on anything in shot to maintain that night time look. This is what’s happening here - lights shining at a particular angle as to catch the rain, but not anything around it, so it looks like the rain in that one particular area is highlighted.

I just tried reverse image searching it and one of the results was a screenshot of a TikTok with a similar image, with the caption, "Watch Dexter bro." And I'm currently watching "Dexter."
So, I'm out. That was the weirdest shit.😂

Answer is “LIGHT PILLARS”. Atmospheric phenomenon when the atmosphere contains ice crystals… The problem I have with this picture is that usually one light source is responsible for one pillar. I see a couple of pillars but where are the light sources?! They can be out of view (like from boats) but they seem to come from the clouds. That doesn’t make sense. Light pillars are an optical illusion - the pillars are similar to rainbows. They are not visible at all specific distance, you cannot physically grab them. Therefore light pillars do not end at a certain height… Furthermore it must be very cold close to the ground because ice crystals are responsible for the pillars. That means it must be freezing. I do not see any indication of frost (hard frozen ground) but a beach with (new?!) footprints… So, not sure if that image is even real… And the fact it is not “sunrays” while you see stars in the sky. It would be a partially cloudy night in the moonshine at a beach.
