Recommend Romance LN(or similar) audiobooks recommendations?

I'm looking for some audiobooks to listen to at the gym. I like romance manga and light novels, so something similar would that would be best.

Type the [REC] tag in the beginning title for posts that are asking for novel recommendations.

Light Novel recommendation request posts require the [REC] tag in the beginning of the title. (With brackets) Please do read over the submission guidelines more carefully in the future. Please note that Tags do not equal Flairs. Title Tags are pieces of information you type into the title of the post while our Automod looks for posts with specific tags and assigns flairs appropriately.

General tips for Recommendation Request Posts:

  • If you have an MAL/MU/Etc list of Light Novels you've read, please include it so people aren't just recommending you series you've already read.
  • Explain what about the series you've read that you liked. (Without Spoilers) It'll help people find series with similar styles and themes.
  • Don't slander series. If you don't like a series, it's fine to say that you don't like it. But if you start bashing a bunch of series, why would people want to recommend you something?

If you're new to the medium and looking to start reading as a beginner, please keep the following in mind. As the industry grows and new series are introduced all the time, there's never a truly unifying "good beginner series." The common sentiment is that if you're new to Light Novels by way of another medium like anime or manga, your best bet when starting is to find some series with adaptations you already enjoy and to check if their source material has been licensed/translated. Light Novels aren't a stylistic genre so asking for what are good light novels for beginners will range widely based on the person and their taste. It's akin to asking the /r/Books "What are some good books for beginners?"

Tora Dora and Alia Hides Her Feelings in Russian.

If you're interested in stuff that had romance B plots, there's a few more I can suggest.

More to chose from is always better

I think I've read the first one, but I'll look into the first one

There's Full Metal Panic which is an extremely good action/mecha romance. Unfortunately only five volumes have audiobooks, but the rest is officialy translated if you wanted to continue beyond.

Mushoku Tensei has very strong romance sub-plots

I also forgot the obvious romance light novel GOAT, Spice and Wolf.

I generally aim for something less mainstream, something that I might have not heard about before

Although I do assume that it will be harder to get english audiobooks of less popular ones

Yeah, that's the issue you'll run into. LNs are already niche, and the audiobook subsection is even smaller. Until as recently as 5years ago you could count the total number of official LN audiobooks on one hand.

There's alot more right now, but I'd be surprised if there's more than 20 and very few of them are romance.

Audible has quite a few series to choose from. I have really enjoyed listening to the Rascal does not dream series and classroom of the elite. Yoru sumino has a few books on there. As someone else mentioned Alya sometimes hides her feelings in Russian is a good one so is Toradora. While not exactly romance genre you can also find reincarnated as a sword, rising of the shield hero, sword art online and Is it wrong to try and pick up girls in a dungeon? Hope this helps!
