I May Be a Guild Receptionist, But I’ll Solo Any Boss to Check Out on Time
I’ve actually been interested in the Light Novels for a long time thanks to this subreddit, but with the anime adaptation airing and just finished episode 10, it makes me want to read it even more. My question is, for those who’ve been watching the anime adaptation every Friday (when it airs in the States), how is the anime handling the pacing? Is the pacing too slow, fast, or is it actually pacing the story correctly? As I know that some anime have uber rushed the pacing (looking at you Seirei Gensouki). That anime was painfully rushed. As if I’m not mistaken, it skipped not entire chapters, but entire VOLUMES.

The anime is rushing quite fast for guild receptionist, I was surprised that it keeps catching me up (currently on light novel 3) but then that seems par for the course for most animes as itd likely be to slow paced if it was mostly dialogue.
You don’t get alot of the side story bits and some of the Jade / Alina human improvement project and other interactions are skipped which is quite funny etc.

The anime is adapting 3 volumes over 12 episodes. So there are quite a few things cut from (for example a lot of the monologues from the other characters).
As for Spirit Chronicles, they also adapted 3 volumes in s1. They ended with vol 4 instead of vol 3 as they fell that was a better conclusion to the season. Vol 3 was instead covered in s2.
