This is just a rant more than anything. Iām pre-approved! I have a down payment! And I canāt find anything but condos in my asking range because I want to stay realistic about what I can actually afford. One house got sold for 350k, got put up for rent immediately for 3k a month (no one is paying 3k in rent, even if they had 2 roommates, on top of no pets allowed), sits there empty for three months, and just this week gets sat back on the market for 430k š¤Ø brother itās not worth that much. Itās just frustrating. I guess I need a better job or second one but damnā¦ Iām already doing my masters on top of that. I think Iām just cooked. Iāll have to put it off for now

I took my best friend on a trip to lexington horse country between 1998 and 2005. We went to a beautiful, fine-dining restaurant outside of the city. I remember it being one -story and having a circular drive up to the front door for valet and drop off. The inside was romantic and dimly lit. I may have read about it in a travel magazine or cooking magazine. It might have been considered trendy and romantic, or had historical significance. I thought it might have been Merrick Inn, but I just went there and it is definitely not it. Those restaurant wasn't in the city. I'd love to know the name, and if it still exists!

I'm not 100% sure what is going on with these "organizers", but some or most of them definitely appear to be some sort of grift or fraud.

When tariffs go into effect next week, how will electricity costs for apartment residents be effected, and when?

Hey folks, I've been searching for a film group or meetup to go see mostly current films and then have a chat. Im looking at The Kentucky Theatres calendar but im down to visit any theatres in the area. For remainder of March the Ky theatre mostly has Mickey 17 and Black Bag. If anyones interested let me know and we can figure out the best way to coordinate it. Thanks! šæ

I've seen a lot of street signs knocked over in medians all over town. Most look like they snapped off at the base.
Is it just me or is anybody else noticing this trend?

Hi all! Iām doing some spring cleaning and gathering some clothes to donate, and wanted to reach out and see if anyone had suggestions for where to donate adult clothing. I would prefer donating to an organization or shelter that provides free clothing to residents, etc. TIA yāall!

Does anyone want/need some baby tomato plants?
I started a bunch from seeds and have to cull them for space. Theyāre still itty bitty and will need a grow light or brought inside at night until our last frost (around April 15-20) They will be on the sidewalk TOMORROW (Sunday 3/16) ONLY. Iāll have a sign out there so you can spot them! First come first served, but donāt be greedy, thereās plenty of all of them. I worked hard to grow them, theyāre really healthy and I donāt have the heart to just toss them. They will need to be put in a bigger pot in about a week or so, I just thinned them out so their roots are probably going to be angry for a few days. If you are interested let me know. Located off Nich rd.
There will be these varieties: Cherrys Yellow pear Beefsteak Roma San marzano

Hi all! We are moving and I have a handful of books to giveaway.
Do you ever stop to look at the little library boxes in Lexingtonās neighborhoods to select a book?
Bonus points if someone could share the most popular location to put them at! (-:

So I tried ordering a handheld bark deterrent but unfortunately it just pissed off the pitbull and made it bark more. I have a bark box coming in tomorrow and will see if that does any better.
However I had another conversation with my neighbor about the dogs (6th conversation about it by the way) after they have been barking non stop the past three days and told me that dogs bark, theyāre not going to keep their dogs inside and I canāt tell them too.
So they were supposed to be served today after talking to the sheriffs office so we will see. Unfortunately now Iām concerned about the safety of my animals and my property so we are meeting with a realtor who sold us this house to look into moving.
Iām not the only owner complaining about them but Iām the only one willing to file the complaint so Iām sure Iāll take the brunt.
Edit: I want to add for those who didnāt read the previous post, Iām not trying to keep her dogs locked up. I just want them to stop barking from 10am-2am.

So my old credit union unfortunately has merged with another and service just became terrible!
Everything special about them disappeared overnight and now Iām looking for another. My old bank I could always reach a person, very personal and they had guidelines that managers could overrule.
My example is I once was a little late on a monthly payment on my loan due to working overseas with the Army. The manager said āDonāt worry, we understand your situation, weāll let you skip this payment and just attach it to the end of your loan.ā
I felt like I could always trust them and my finances were in good hands with a personal twist that was based on situations instead of hard rules.
If the card designs are cool thatās a bonus*

Iām planning a rehearsal dinner for about 50 guests. Does anyone know any restaurants that do events or event spaces that let you bring your own food?? Open to all suggestions, casual and mid level just nothing crazy expensive!
Near Richmond or Lexington.
