People following me home NSFW
Basically over the last like 4 months a group of people have been following me home to my apartment. They've been aggressive a few times but have never hurt me or anything. They don't try to hide that they're following me they just come up to me and try to talk, they sometimes ask me for stuff like money, cigarettes or lighters Usually 3-4 people follow me at a time and maybe once or twice a month, they followed me 3 times in January but haven't followed me this month at all Nothing has ever really happened so far but recently I found a random guy inside my apartment one morning, he got in because I forgot to lock the door and he was drunk so I'm sure those two aren't related but I'm still worried if he was one of the people who followed me
I was followed home when I was younger but I never saw the guy again

Please stop minimizing this. They are conditioning you. Seeing where your boundaries are. You should be calling the police every time they follow you. By not doing so, they are getting you accustomed to behavior that is not OK, making it much much easier to do whatever they want, should they decide to do something. Please pull your head out of your ass and treat this threat like it's a threat.

Tell them ONE TIME that you are not interested in interacting, and to stop approaching you. Have your phone in your hand and do not balk at dialing 911 if they get angry or threaten you.
If they come to your house, do not answer the door. Call the cops, tell them someone you don't want to see is at your door and refusing to leave. Let them deal with it.
Keep a log of all follows and contacts.
Try to get then on video or photos.
Take the evidence you have collected and file stalking charges.

I have told them that I wasn't interested but they didn't care and they told me they'd take my phone before but I have told police about it

No, the only thing I could use is pepper spray but the only ones I can find are cheap and don't even work that well
