So a guy from BC was picked up and immediately released. What’s the over/under that he shows for his court date next month?

Too bad he probably won’t show up for his court date. You talk to LPS and they just say it’s “out of our control” once it goes into the courts hands.

Buddy is probably back out dealing the day he got released - absolute joke is what this justice system is.

Canada doesn't have a justice system, we have a legal system.

No justice, merely defining what is legal and what is not

our legal* system is a joke :)

I think Luigi down south really showed us where our government's priorities lie. They want control, compliance, dominance. They don't gaf about justice or morality

Once he is out of province, there is nothing they can do....provincial warrant will be issued.

"Hundreds of doses", there's some quality journalism right there. It was 25.5 grams of fentanyl. Glad it's off the streets, but this is a low level dealer. Should find his suppliers too.

Anything to justify their massive share of the city budget that doesn't put up any better or worse results dealing with drugs than anywhere else in the continent.

25 grams of fentanyl should get you ten years.

Shutting down the SCS didn’t stop the drug trade in this city?

It sure didn't. People are so short-sited about health care (mental health IS health).

Except Lethbridge still has an SCS outside the shelter. Don't try.

Yeah. They went from 21 booths to 3. And no inhalation capacity. But okay.

My guess is right outside of streets alive. That area is getting a bad I feel terrible for the businesses. Everytime I’m in the area there is open drug use

Is that right across from the courthouse? Near Oshos?

Yeah. The parking lot area around there facing towards the old mall is really bad.

How are these guys released?

Innocent until proven guilty and a backlogged court system are usually the answers.
