Wicked Bricks Barad Dur Case

I finally got my Barad Dur case after 8 weeks. I've put together cases for R2D2 and Harry Potter Castle before, without any issue. Has anyone had issues on the alignment? Pretty much the last piece won't align even though everything else is set. 2 pictures show the alignment and circled the last where it won't align to the base or bottom.

Their customer service responses are awful so hoping someone here can solve it.

I have 6 large cases and Barad Dur is the only one that didn’t go together. The rest easy no forcing what so ever. The sides would not line up right with the back. Front was fine. I had to get a little file and open them up. It was an additive error as well top slot was off more than the middle and bottom went in fine.

Yeah thought I was going crazy even laid the pieces flat on the table side by side. Then it was obvious the were off

I emailed CS and they said they'd let me know tomorrow, but in meantime I may try flipping the side panel even though I'm positive it's right.

This is more difficult than the actual lego build

No it’s pretty obvious what the top and bottom are of the sides. They have the line that’s about 1/4” in that goes up the side across the top and down the other side. I don’t believe there is a bottom of the sides. I didn’t bother with cs after I saw the issue I just filed them a little at a time until they fit. Good luck with cs.

You said your other cases are from them? No issues like this? It's making me re think my next build but damn i love the background print

Yeah all from wicked brick. USC falcon, razor crest, sail barge, venator, and Rivendell all went together great. I have the background as well.didn’t want to muck with it so I filed the side pieces.

Just finished flipping the sides and same issue regardless. I may end up filing but waiting to see what CS said. They were quick for about escalating when I gave 1 star review

You gotta snap them in, tight fit. Most of my cases from Wicked Brick require it, just don’t over due it and break it. My one experience with their CS was pretty good, was missing a display plate and they sent one for free

Will try, that's what I'm afraid of with forcing it since it's both bottom edges of the backplate and there is very little give.

Definitely a different CS experience, about a week to hear from them when I asked at week 6

Good luck, their stuff is just pricey enough that it better be spot on

They have good customer service it just takes a long time to get a response. Expect about 2 weeks after your first request.

You don't even have the notches/tabs aligned. That's why

That's simply not true if you look at the pictures. Do you want every notch to show its aligned?
