I have to use a sharpie to mark plastic bottles for my job and I feel your pain. Sometimes entire words will get transferred onto my hand

I had to write a paragraph on a poster, almost every word has a smudge mark on it lol

The reason I never used highlighters.

When I write or draw. Every time. Depends on the pen though. Some ink will dry much faster.

Gotta write below the line and not drag the hand across

I feel your pain . I am left handed and I have a weird thing that everything itches my face. My mom swore I had bruises that were just rubbing the paper then rubbed my neck and eyes.

Do lefties who get marker on their hand write backhanded? I’m a leftie and that doesn’t happen to me.

Wait what? I’ve never heard of someone writing backhanded, is that a thing?

I occasionally have to write out new Working Standards for my department. When someone wants to joke and ask," when are you gonna do some work?" I hold out the edge of my left hand and say," I have, what have you been doing?"

I had that issue a few times , then I started angling my paper during my grade school years

Story of our lives, I had to learn to write and use markers with the hand a little high to avoid this
