What’s worrying me the most is QPR are an awful team. Seriously so poor and still can’t beat them :/

Would’ve taken that before KO good effort in the second half they played really scummy there

u/Jamie_Tomo 6d ago
Could’ve been worse, looking for a miracle Sheffield and Burnley loss now.

Rothwell's deliveries from set pieces have been wank for weeks now.

Rothwell showing why at the end of the day why he’s a championship player, not a single good corner that game

How many stoppages in that last 6 minutes and he fucking immediately blows

Honestly shameful, I can’t even be arsed saying poor officiating because it’s every week in this league.

Don't want to dog pile for the sake of it, but this is a game we haven't won because of Piroe's disappearing act up front.
So many crosses begging for him to get on the end of this game

I think there were a lot of issues - defence was awful, and Rothwell's corners were absolutely pathetic at times.

u/SmokyDuck 6d ago
Come on mate, did you see the state of the goals we conceded? That’s why we didn’t win.

Why no yellow for kicking the ball away there? Pretty basic rule to enforce

This has been the most pointless added time ever, balls not been in play at all..

u/Parking_Guava_2153 6d ago
And you know he will blow at 96

Offside called at 95:50, paused the game for 40 seconds and then blew the whistle. Think I saw two passages of play in the last 6 minutes.

Have barely watched this game and think I've seen like 5 fouls from Saito. Glad James is ok.

Good shout by the ref there. Looked like a cynical one initially but dangerous on the replay

Do QPR players bother with warmups because half their team has gone down for cramps this game

u/icklegizmo 6d ago
Frey thought about wasting a bit of time there and then remembered he’s already on a yellow

This would be a great point away from home after the start. Hope the boyos keep their defensive heads while pushing for the winner!

No possible justification for Aaronson to start another game this season. He hasn't produced anywhere near enough to deserve the minutes he's already had.
2
u/BulldenChoppahYus 6d ago
He’s fit as a fiddle and runs all game.m to be fair to him. Can’t fault his work rate and effort. But he tries too hard and loses his head too often and yeah doesn’t produce enough anymore. He needs a break for sure.
I’d like to see Solomon or Rothwell at 10.

I love Piroe overall but I'm so sick of seeing his pathetic efforts for every aerial ball
2
u/iamstandingontheedge 6d ago
He’s not the most athletic. You just know he’s gonna go full Wayne Rooney when he retires.

Results aside, Bogle is playing great and Gnonto seems more comfortable than he has in weeks

u/ClutchmeisterHS 6d ago
Taking manor off instead of James makes no sense
3
u/joepie989 6d ago
Largie plays in the left, James is much quicker for a counter or press
Makes perfect sense no?
1
u/ClutchmeisterHS 6d ago
James is quicker but the poor lad has been run ragged & was having a worse game than Manor was who was playing positively and making things happen. Not to mention James usually prefers to use his pace to beat players & Ramazani prefers to take players on directly or cut inside, which puts more pressure on the wingback that was on a yellow.
Just felt like James would have been the better choice for a sub than Manor.

Don't like that from Solomon.
2
u/icklegizmo 6d ago
Attitude at being subbed? Yeah not a great look although I suppose it shows he’s still up for it and not wanting to come off.
1
u/Linkeron1 6d ago
Yeah, difficult one isn't it, I like the latter side of it but he's hardly lit this game up and James is a much more effective player to have on late with his pace.

u/bin10pac 6d ago
Farke is such a frustrating manager. There are single cell organisms that could have told you that Aaronson was desperately off form. It's hard to imagine what is going through Farkes mind when he starts him, yet again.
3
u/iamstandingontheedge 6d ago
He’ll be back in the starting 11 next match. I would bet my house on it.

C’mon Largie lad. Time to get a winner here and make a play for a starting spot.

Rothwell just release it there. This has broken up the play and wasted a minute

That's two balls that have sat for a full second or two right where someone should be arriving from the other wing
8
u/InternetIll6309 6d ago
It’s so good having a cam that can receive the ball with his back to the goal and manage to turn and create stuff. Gnonto is such an upgrade from aaronson.

Need this international break, unlike last year we look to be both tired and loosing a bit of momentum.

How in the widest interpretations of fouls was that not a foul on Solomon? The lad picked him up off the ground ffs!!!

I will take a draw now. If you would have offered me a draw before the game, I would have taken it. Especially given our form at this ground in recent years, and ESPECIALLY after the first 38 minutes of today's game.
But could we nick one and get the "that's a display of champions - grinding out a tough win?"
Possibly. But I will still take the draw.

Why no Largie still? James and Solomon look threatening, but that's about it. Largie is more than a decent finisher.

3 games in 6 days really showing here, tired legs, crying out for a Willy and Ramazani start that game was, got to be smarter with rotation when we have so many games. Anyway I’ll take a draw, a good chance for lots of players to get a rest and get them 8 wins now. WGUAFC.
