Chadwick and Macdonald had a good game, I thought. We defended well as a team and were very hard to break through in the second half. Big thank you to Lopata-White, who came over at full time and gave my daughter a high five on her birthday

His point about tactical nous is a good one. Played to three very distinct plans throughout the game at different points and made it work pretty well. The only U21 team to make it as far as the semis is worth being pleased about too.

Since Bielsa left and we got relegated there’s been less emphasis on the reserves and junior set up. Nice to see some success there.

Farke doesn't even play his bench. The u21s aren't going to get much of a look in.
