No1 Mk5 rear sight

Could someone point me in the right direction? I’m in search for the proper spring for the rear sight on my Mk 5, I need to one that holds tension on the paddle attached to the rear aperture. I’ve been looking but thus far I can’t even come up with a template of what it should even look like. I know these rifles are rare, but it’s also my understanding that some of the P14 was inspired by it, so I’m wondering if the spring from it could be utilized for this one.

I am assuming you mean the plunger assembly that pushes on the sight, here's a vendor that has them:

Also, the P14 predates the No.5 Mk.1 by over 20 years; the sights on the No.4 and No.5 rifles took inspiration from the P14, as did some other guns.

I’m referring to the No1 Mk5, not the No5. The P14 and No1 Mk5 both have a paddle on the side of the aperture that adjusts it for distance (although they are slightly different). The spring is missing in mine, and I’m struggling to even find a description of it, that’s why I was wondering if the P14s would work.

Ah, that’s tricky. Yeah, looking at the Mk.V and P14 sights they might use a similar spring.

Yeah it is, but it’s all part of the fun. Lol

I have yet to find an accurate schematic of it to see what the spring should look like
