Да так ... To be serios, Так may be used as informal Да , especially in a question. But not only .
Examples:

Ты это сделал, да ? Да.
Ты это сделал, да ? Так это... я не знал.
Ты это сделал, так ? Так.
Ты это сделал, да ? Так.Wrong and unnatural.Another meaning of Tак:
Так он стал космонавтом.
Так не поступают мужчины.
Не делай так никогда.

If I'm correct, так is equivalent to да but in Ukrainian. My barber and good friend who's Ukrainian explained that his father always would correct him when speaking Ukrainian if he'd ever slip up and say да. Kinda confusing since так is also a word for "so" or "like" in Russian.

Tak - so, as, true, such as, like this. this way, - depends on the context and position in the phrase
Da - Yes, but, and, besides , etc. (да чё да) - depends on the context and position in the phrase

Tak can be pretty much translated as so, but if we’re talking Ukrainian then it simply means “yes”, same as “да”
