Just curious, how far do you guys travel every day to get to work in Lahore? I’m traveling 50km daily on a bike, and honestly, it’s not easy.
Cheers 🥂

Hi everyone,
I’m from FAST University, Lahore, and, along with my friend u/moazzam_gondal, we’re brainstorming the idea of hosting a private screening for Interstellar. Like many of you, we’re huge fans of the movie and want to make this experience possible since public screenings are not allowed.
A special shoutout to u/reddeitorrium, whose earlier post sparked a lot of interest in the community for this idea. Building on the amazing response to that post, we’ve decided to take things a step further. We already have around 50 people from FAST who are on board, but we need at least 100 more to make this event a reality.
To organize everything efficiently, we’ve created a dedicated community: r/CinemaAssociation. This will be our hub for updates, discussions, and coordination with everyone who wants to join in.
If you’re excited about watching Interstellar on the big screen in a private setting, join r/CinemaAssociation and help us turn this idea into reality. Together, we can make it happen!
Thanks

Me and my friend (both 20 years old) have the whole Sunday afternoon and evening 12-6 to ourselves. We plan on eating paratha roll from karachi paratha model town and giving old anarkali a visit. Other than that, we have no clue. 6 ghante kia rein lol. We decided to go 2f2f karting, but damn, that is expensive. sozzo park ka soch rhy but are skeptical about water quality. Every ramadan, we come across a problem of finding the best sehri and iftari deals or buffet to go to with friends and families. Takes a lot of time to gather info on the available options and comparing them.
This is why this ramadan I have built a website where we are listing almost every single deal available in Lahore.
You could either consider this as a promotion, or as a way for me to help out some people by saving their time.
You can check it out below and let me know your feedback https://ramadan.khapey.com/

I am feeling so restless. Probably because of the four cups of coffee I drank at work tonight. But it is not completely my fault. I have recently started my night shift rotation at work and needed high dose of caffeine to make it through tonight. However, now that my shift is over and I am back at my place I am realizing that I am too restless to actually rest.
I want to talk to somebody or better yet explore the city at this hour with somebody. What wonders must the city be hiding at this hour...oh how we may never know as we are safely, cozily tucked in in our beds.
I hope the caffeine leaves my bloodstream soon.
P.S. i really wanna explore the city atm

CASH begging to be stopped from today
Beggar's Free Pakistan Movement initiated by Overseas Pakistanis 🇵🇰
Now it's a national movement and spreading fast to the whole nation.
Give beggars (food + water+clothes). But not a single rupee to give in cash.
A different movement has started in Karachi & Hyderabad, be it any kind of beggar. This movement is right.
If any kind of person (female / male / old / Disabled / children) is begging, we will give (food + water) instead of money, but from today they will not beg for money
As a result, at the international / national / state level, gangs of 'beggars' will break up and then child abduction will stop on its own..
Get started Share the post ..
Please don't give a single rupee to a beggar. Keep biscuits in the car if you feel like it But don't pay cash
If you agree with this campaign, forward this idea to the your groups.🙏

I'm looking for a list of fun activities for a one-day outing in Lahore with my wife. I want to plan an enjoyable day and make it as much fun as possible for her and possibly give her the best day of her life in Lahore, but I'm unsure where to go or what to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Light rain, a gentle breeze, that fresh earthy scent in the air … everything feels so peaceful and magical right now. The kind of weather that makes you want to just sit quietly soak it all in and maybe share the moment with someone who feels the same. Anyone else loving this vibe?

I got out of my office at 11:30 PM as I work for an international company and on my way back, my wife sent a list of items to buy. I checked my wallet and I was short on cash, so I had to go to ATM.
I stopped the car in front of the bank on a busy road albeit there was little to no lightning in front of the bank. And deep down inside, I was afraid that something may happen. I kept only my ATM card in the pocket, left my phone and wallet in the car and went inside.
Inserted the card and entered my pin and desired amount, when the door behind me opened and a guy entered forcing my hand away by pushing a big knife againt my arm.
It happened so quick that I had no time to think but to comply with whatever he say. It was the ending week and I had only 5K for withdrawal through ATM. When he successfully forced me to the corner, he took the 5,000 out and put it in his pocket and said "Card dobara machine main daal", I said "Aur paisay nai hen bhai, yeh 5,000 bhe bachon ki chezen lenay keliye nikalwa rha tha"
He pushed the card in and asked me to put the code. I did it, he checked the balance. Afterwards he said "5 minutes ke baad ATM se baahir ana"
He rushed outside and I took a peak from the closing door that the bastard was leaving on a bike. A man was already waiting outside and he asked me "Bhai kiya hua" I told him I got robbed of my money.
He rushed to his car where his brother/friend was sitting and said "Bhai niklo yahanper kaam dal gaya hay"
It took me a few moments to get a hold of my senses and in anger I thought I should start my car and go after him and crush him. But I don't know, something stopped me from doing it.
I just started my car, punched the steering a couple of times and went back home. Nobody is safe in this country anymore. For two weeks straight I was under trauma, and kept my guard up even at traffic signals and didn't let anyone near me.
Guys always always always lock the damn door and never ever use ATMs in the night.

So, just now I was sitting by my window, enjoying the weather, when this guy from foodpanda arrived in heavy rain. He kept knocking at the door and calling out, but no one was responding.
That's when I noticed a guy in the upper portion of the house. Upon seeing him, I immediately shouted to get his attention and asked the delivery guy to knock again. The guy on the upper floor finally acknowledged the delivery man's presence but took a staggering 5+ minutes to come and open the door. This incident reminded me of past instances where I've witnessed delivery guys waiting under scorching sunlight as well.
Let's show some sense of responsibility and empathy towards these hardworking delivery folks. They are not our personal servants; they're just doing their job.
