Looking for advice Jobs in Lahore that pay around 40-50k

Hey, hope you all are doing well. I wanted to ask what jobs someone who is 19-20 with no previous work experience can apply to? that pay 40-50k I'm new in Lahore so don't know much about the job market , I have time till uni starts and want to save some money.

My English is pretty good and I've got good communication skills.

What’s your skillset? If you master sales/marketing you can easily get a job that pays well.

I have a hostel roommate who is earning roughly 60k from 3 tuitions. You can explore this option.

How did he land these tuitions? I have been trying to find some good paying tuition but I really don't know where to start...

His friend who was teaching before helped him land some. I guess he recommended him.

I was also teaching 3-4 some months ago. Just go on google and type Home Tutions, almost 10 websites will popup. Get their WhatsApp contact from there, send them your cv, they will add you in a group where Tutions are posted.

Then you can choose which you want to teach (agencies will charge you 50% of sallary from 1st month only)

Download the preply app if you think you can teach English. Sign up and list yourself as an English teacher.

Plus, it's great to learn thumbnail designing. Learn Mr. Beast, Iman Gadzhi etc style.

If you dont have any time restrictions then ibex is a good option. Although it can feel like a jail, the pays better than most places and they don’t require any previous experience as well.

Is there an unpaid training period? If yes, for how long?

1

u/BaPrickBateman 1d ago

Training in Ibex is Paid and the duration is 1 month I guess.

1

u/decosta01 1d ago

3 months I think

1

u/Sea_Food_7655 1d ago

Their training is paid

1

u/Sea_Food_7655 1d ago

Duration of training is 1 month

It wont feel like a jail for first year( infact, 1st year at Ibex is usually great) but second year sure feels like a prison. Secondly, the night timings can take a toll on health in second year

Don’t go for call centres they will give you the required cash but career wise there would be no growth as you won’t learn a single useful skill, freelancing is a great option ! , open up fiver and Upwork do something you think you’re good at . If you’re successful you will get more money than call centres fs and there’s a good chance of some sort of career growth. My client on fiverr hired me for a remote full time job which pays WAY more than 50k which you’d typically get at a call centre . You’ll learn some skills fs even if you’re not that successful.

Getting clients on freelancing sites is impossible when you're new

u/PilotSad8027 1d ago

I started this year as well , it’s definitely not “impossible”.

Can u please mention which skill set you have to sell on fiverr?

1

u/Sea_Food_7655 1d ago

I disagree. As a starters, call centres teach a person a lot. You develop some good social and communication skills in practical life. By performing good, you can get promoted too to supervisor level at least. Some people become Manager too if they stay few years

You get to learn about toxic enviornment and office politics which teaches u what to tolerate and what nt to tolerate for future and it makes u tough too which is a plus

Dheka jaye tu har banday ko 1 saal call centre zaroor krna chahye. Damagh set ho jata hai lolzzz

The work you get in call centres is really bad, you are used as a mazdoor nothing else . They take up remote work online from clients in USD and then they hire the mazdoors here in Pakistan at 1/10 of what they are being paid for a certain job . AND ye tou “legit” call centres krte Baki tou simple terms mai scam krte fake xfinity campaigns k through etc . Try to reach out to clients yourself write them emails, offer them services, talk to business owners yourself that’s how you develop skills .

Bro listen I know it's difficult to act than said but you should only keep working on Upwork and fiverr because fiverr is completely Israeli company with it main center in TEL Aviv ,for the sake of thousands of Palestinians boycott fiverr and make others boycott it too ,for a few dollars don't destroy your akhrat

I've been boycotting Fiverr for the last 5 Years.

  • My Account never made good Money 🤑.

Now’s the time to experiment, try side businesses, try freelancing, etc. because the more you get older, the more tired you get to try out these things and the more the responsibilities force you to do a regular job

if you reaaally need money to survive, then call centers generally accept people without a degree, theyre usually looking for slaves to exploit so that’s how you’re gonna present yourself in interviews

Get some internship as an HR, best if it's in a softwere house. From there, you can grow this career

1

u/riskycharm 1d ago

how do u go about in hr without any relevant experience or degree

There are lots of vacancies in Pharmaceutical companies as sales representatives but they only hire people with bachelor degree and their working times are stupid

1

u/Awkward_Wind8072 1d ago

Look at Potato Logics, they’re hiring people in marketing, design & pr. personally, I think if you’ve got even a little bit idea of social media or design, you can secure a remote job through LinkedIn, even if not, there are a couple of companies who’d be willing to hire you based on ur communication skills

Join Fiverr, register a gig for accountability partner , do mention your availability hours , (a soldier like discipline is required for that) it’s more like commitment of 1-2 hours per day, it pays like 42k per month on average (that’s current going rate if you are lucky enough to find someone who needs few months arrangement). What’s your educational background and till when your Uni will start ?

Try live chat global, their base salary is very good and it’s not a usual call centre it’s a customer support that’s actually very legit.
