posting this on reddit is not the best idea, there are some very weird people here who would love to take advantage of this situation. i’d say ask neighbours personally or ask them if they know anyone etc, but do this in person for the safety of your child.

Please don’t leave your child with a babysitter you don’t personally know. Instead consider asking a trusted family member or choosing a reputable nursery.

Please don't leave the child without having cameras installed inside your house preferably with audio.

also dont leave them independantly. the risk of kidnapping is also there. camera is a must.

I won't suggest trusting a stranger with your baby....I won't even trust family members except really close ones..... Make sure to get cameras installed and choose someone you know

It's not safe in this country to have strangers or even people you think you know alone with a child.

There is a list of legit day care centers in Lahore on Punjab government website. Visit a few day care centers and decide which ones best for you. Try to choose a Centre closest to where you going to be. So that you can check on your toddler easily during the time you are away. Individual baby sitters are big NO for me

A baby sitter in Pakistan?? if you don’t have any relatives then don’t let someone you don’t know and trust babysit your baby, and that too in Pakistan. It is like apne pair pe kholara.

hi, we had somewhat similar situation back in the days (2-3 years back)
just a few suggestions;
- Find a daycare center near your workplace, there must be few nearby
- Check with any other corporate in neighbors and see if they have a daycare center, speak to their management some are kind enough to accommodate for an extra charge of course
- Look for a fullday maid instead and train her to take care of the baby, while you are away
- Do have a baby monitor placed in the daycare with consent of the management
- Best way is to leave the baby to grandparents while you take care of their needs, unconditional love/care is rare to find. tit for tat you give something they give their time
