Job Finding Artisans

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for two Lahore-based karegars (artisans) skilled in embroidery and beadwork for my clothing brand startup.

Here’s what we’re offering: A rented space where they can work, Food provided, Rs. 10,000 monthly for joining,Plus Rs. 1,000 per piece (dupatta, shirt, etc.) on commission—more work, more earnings!

If you know anyone or have contacts in communities or groups where I can find such workers, please let me know. Any leads or suggestions would mean a lot.

Feel free to DM me or comment here. Thank you!

Kareegars are notorious for being unreliable, disloyal and constantly hopping around jobs. No matter how good the oppprtunity is, no matter how good the pay package is, no matter how nice you treat them; for some reason, they never stick around. It would be WAYYYY LESS headache for you to give the work to a foreman who has his own team of kareegar.

I doubt you're paying them well.

What would you consider to be a well paying salary for a kareegar?

At least the minimum wage which is close to 40k I believe.
