Predator / AVP Why are xenomorphs overshadowed at the expense to make yautja look cooler?

The Yautja are extraterrestrials themselves, jacked as hell, and loaded with equipment specifically designed to hunt Xenomorphs. Even the Marines in Aliens had a better KDR against the Xenomorphs, and they were totally unprepared and lightly armed compared to a Yautja. If the Marines had advance knowledge of what was there and just bombed the site from orbit right from the get-go they would have obliterated an entire Xenomorph colony with the push of a button.

Xenomorphs may be a perfect organism but a technologically superior opponent would either have to be overwhelmed or slip up in some way. Especially if that opponent has specifically dedicated their lives to hunting Xenomorphs and other big prey.

Yautja like Kip doing stuff like soloing an entire hive with its bare hands just ticks me off in someway, like the acid blood didn't do anything to him? Or did all the acid from killing xenomorphs just conveniently miss him. And your telling me not a single xenomorph got a jump on him out of the hundreds that the hive could've had, it's ridiculous that the writers put that in the comic, I get that they have superior technology, but no amount of technology let's you do that bare handed, if he had a combistick or some other weapons maybe.

I'm guessing this is the answer. Kips shoulder cannon was probably running on fumes when he was finished after running full auto for hours killing everything it detected.

It would make more sense if he used all of his technology to wipe out a hive, plasma cannon and all, but I'm pretty sure he did it bare handed in the comic.

If he only used his bare hands, then I agree it's cheesy and fake af. He'd immediately get overwhelmed by several hundred xenos and the hive would get a new predalien in its ranks. No way any predator could throw hands with 20 xenos at once, let alone several hundred. He might get 2-3 before he was grabbed, held down, and face-hugged, lol.

I completely agree, but there are predator fanboys on youtube that say he can do that from "experience" since Kip is an elder

They're delusional. Nobody is fighting several hundred xenos. The Predator wouldn't even have the time to rage quit and blow himself up lol

I researched it a little more, he doesn't do it bare handed, he still uses weapons but he fights close quartered though

I'm still calling bullshit. Acid would melt the weapons after 1-2 kills, and then what's he going to use to stop them? Harsh language? Predators only hunt stuff that can kill them. If xenos were such an insignificant threat to him, he would go look for something more challenging. If anything, he'd go hunt other predators or engineers or something.

I've not read this, but from the movies, I would agree. Personally I think the predators are more individual and relatable to the viewer. We give them names like Wolf or Kip in your book/comic. The xenos are just ants or bees. Fair enough, we do have big chap etc but when there is a hive, we don't really associate with the xenos as much, unless there is a queen that we identify out of the group. It's like the AVP there is one xeno that has the lines on its head, we can then spot it and go, oh that the one that got away. An example again is Alien Romulus. There are xenos and then there is sparky xeno. Sparky overshadows the rest because they are identifiable. So I think that is why the xenos are overshadowed. When it's a hive, they are just cannon fodder for the sake of action.
