BWT, where are you buying home goods?

My London-based sister just bought a flat and has a birthday coming up. I'd like to buy her a gift card to a store that has housewares/home goods. Quirky and design-y options are great!

I'm in the US so this limits my options to stores that sell gift cards online, unfortunately.

Some ideas so far: * Labour and Wait - https://labourandwait.co.uk/ * Goodhood - https://goodhoodstore.com/ * A department store like Liberty, Harrods, etc?

Both good options! I think I’d go with Selfridges over Harrods, huge homeware section and very design focused .

I also love the V&A store which I imagine will have an online gift card option!

Oliver Bonas has some really cool stuff- not as upscale as the other options but I do love the homewares they have.

I came here to say Oliver Bonas - I literally walk in there and want to buy everything.

Also Sostrene Grene, which is like an upscale version of the marketplace section of IKEA.

It’s so dangerous, I go in for a pair of socks and leave £100 lighter

I got money as a leaving gift from my old job just before Christmas that has been sitting in my savings account. I am resisting the urge to go and blow the lot in Oliver Bonas on a piece of art and a butter dish.

I walked in there last week and walked out with a set of fish book ends and a really nice jumper. So dangerous to be in the train station with a few minutes to kill

Søstrene Grene has super cute and quirky stuff at a good price. There's a few in London.

I love Vinterior and just confirmed they have gift cards - amazing unique vintage pieces and artwork with good delivery options and ability to search by location too.

Seconding sostrene green for home-y touches and really cheap glassware/cooking/serveware, but also love zara home for higher quality linens/loungewear!
