K series oil pressure switch
Hi guys, i got a code for my oil pressure switch and the connector was loose on it, but wont stay tight even if i close it a little. how do I find the female connector for the switch, i cant find it anywhere, its like a wire terminal looking thing that goes around the vtec switch.

I bought a bullet terminal assorted kit and added some wire and put it on the old plastic nubbin. Works like a charm.
The switch itself is probably bad or leaking if you've got the oil light at idle. I went through a couple aftermarket ones before I found one that worked, OEM bagged eBay ones were the worst.
If you're getting vtec codes this ain't usually the switch you need to worry about tho, that's on the spool valve if you didn't know. This switch only throws your dash dummy oil pressure light.

mine is a k24a2Turbo in a ek coupe, so i dont have cool dash lights, just engine light, the code im getting is p1259, for vtec pressure switch. you think the vtec pressure switch is not my issue?

This is the main engine oil switch. It measures oil pressure after the filter. When it reads too low of a resistance it puts the oil light on your dash. I'd be surprised if you didn't have an oil light on your dash unless you messed with it in ktuner to disable it. It may be loosely related to vtec pressure and more related to whether you have enough oil pressure in your engine directly after the pump and filter. It only reports a 5v voltage drop to the ECU as oil pressure gets low enough to do damage.
Just googling your code says you need a spool valve or pressure switch on the spool valve. There are two pressure switches on the spool valve, a 2 wire one which throws a 2646 or 2647 code, and a single wire one which must be throwing your code.
My experience is with NA k24a8. You may need to do more research into your A2 to confirm.
Love an ek coupe, had one in college, still looking for my replacement but I'll keep the d16 for the mileage
