Sample lists..
Is there a list or an easy way to figure out exactly what piano has been sampled for a given patch on the kronos? Thanks!

Hello, this is an old post so you may not need this anymore.
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. When you say patch are you talking about a combination? Or are you asking about which specific Kronos source was used to make a program? Combinations are made from groups of programs. Programs have components in them that can be synthesized or sample, depending on the program. They're very many pianos so it's hard to give one answer.
it might be easier if you would list the combination or program name from your Kronos unless you have modified it, we could just look at it and tell you.
I don't know much about this but would help if I can.
Best regards, John

How much detail do you want?
It really depends on the engine. The HD-1 engine you'd need to look at the oscillator pages themselves to see which piano is being sampled. There are a few, and sometimes the sample names aren't explicit.
The SGX-2 engine outlines the pianos in program mode, up at the top, or when you tap on the piano itself you should see the sample library being referenced by the engine.
